Petty's Garage will expand the Level Cross, N.C., speed shop with a $2.4 million investment. The expansion will include renovations to the shop and the addition of 17 new jobs over the next two years. Construction is slated for the first quarter of 2017. The expansion will allow the team to continue their high-quality performance parts, restorations and custom builds that are fit for "The King".

NASCAR today unveiled a new official brand identity which will replace the bar mark used by the sanctioning body since 1976. The announcement was made in conjunction with the news that Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™ will be the new name of the sport’s premier series beginning January 1, 2017.

Front Row Motorsports will have two familiar faces behind the wheels of its racecars in 2017. Landon Cassill will return to the team and drive the No. 34 Ford after an impressive first season with the team in 2016.

Go Fas Racing (GFR) is pleased to announce that Matt DiBenedetto will pilot the No. 32 Go Fas Racing Ford for all 36 scheduled events in NASCAR's Premier Series during the 2017 season. DiBenedetto comes to GFR after completing two full seasons in NASCAR's Premier Series where he tallied 68 starts and a season-best finish of sixth place at Bristol Motor Speedway in Spring of 2016.

Daytona International Speedway, in partnership with the Greater Jacksonville Area USO and the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), is creating the “Ticket for Troops” program, providing race fans the opportunity to help send members of the military to Speedweeks 2017 events at the “World Center of Racing.”
