NASCAR Cup Series

This weekend at Pocono Raceway is a monumental one for Aric Almirola. After his first Sprint Cup start in 2007, he had several years of only part-time rides with various teams. It took time, patience and perseverance to reach the point of having a full-time ride in the sport's premier national touring series.

Brian Scott and the No. 44 Medallion Financial Team return to Pocono Raceway this weekend up for the challenge of the 'Tricky Triangle' in the Pennsylvania 400. Scott's first trip to the 2.5-mile track didn't end as the team hoped it would, when the No. 44 Ford got stuck between gears and caused Scott to hit the outside wall, causing significant damage that required repairs in the garage. The damage also took Scott out of contention by putting the team several laps down.

Stenhouse has seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Pocono Raceway with an average starting position of 22.9 and average finishing position of 27.3.

Greg Biffle is the last Ford driver to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway (2010) and while Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski have both won there since, they did it before joining the Ford stable with Team Penske in 2013. This weekend’s race is scheduled for Sunday, July 31 and will air on NBCSN at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Our Champion said goodbye on Sunday. He gave us one final lap for the fans and friends that know him best and cherish him unconditionally. Thank you, Rocket. From everyone in Indiana, that has watched your career with pride and joy. From all of us that your words and actions touched, we can never say thank you enough.

It was the Brickyard 400, presented by Kyle Busch. He led the first lap, he led the last one, and led most of the laps in between. If the focal point of a race is at the front, if the drama of a race is to see who is leading the way, this competition was pretty much done when they waved the green flag.

NASCAR driver Michael McDowell and Circle Sport-Leavine Family Racing earned a driver and team-best finish (23rd) and qualifying position (27th) at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) this weekend

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has made a change in crew chiefs for its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series programs, effective immediately.

I got a penalty on the last stop and that is a green flag stop that turned into a yellow and got us a lap down. But we fought and got our lap back and I don’t know where did we end up 11th? So, fought back and got something respectable out of this. Didn’t leave anything out there.”
