NASCAR Cup Series

Kevin Harvick, reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, ran a fast lap of 178.168 mph in his No. 4 Jimmy John’s/Budweiser Chevrolet SS during knockout qualifying for Sunday’s Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway. It was quick enough to reward him with the outside front row starting position in the 43-car field. It marks Harvick’s 13th top-10 start of the 2015 season, and his ninth in 30 races at the track known as the ‘Tricky Triangle’.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Crispy Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Starting Position: 1st - Did you think you had a pole-winning race car today? “I told you I had a fast car I just wasn’t sure we could get the balance of it right. GREG BIFFLE, No. 16 Roush Performance Ford Fusion – (Qualified 25th) – “We were just really loose. We were having a hard time coming off the truck with the right balance. We were super tight the last practice session and then I almost wrecked on the first lap from being way too loose. "

Kyle Busch, who has been on a tear winning four races and three in a row most recently, has continued that roll at Pocono Raceway. The driver of the No. 18 M&M's Crispy Toyota scored the pole for the 42nd annual Windows 10 400 with a speed of 178.416 mph and a time 50.444 seconds.

While some fans have expressed sadness over the elimination of the NASCAR haulers, a fixture for years at each and every racetrack, there was great excitement today as the new NASCAR Trackside Superstore debuted at Pocono Raceway.
