It’s the annual All-Star Weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series, which will be held at Texas Motor Speedway for the first time. The Cup Series will be joined in the Lone Star State by the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series.

Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Newman brought his No. 6 Guaranteed Rate Ford Mustang down pit road for the final time on lap 87 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Race at Sonoma Raceway, in hopes that scuffed tires would be the key down the stretch with a handful of laps remaining in the event.

In a chaotic final set of laps at Sonoma Raceway Sunday afternoon, Chris Buescher maintained composure and finished 16th in the Fastenal Ford Mustang, despite being caught in the middle of a scuffle in the final turn in NASCAR overtime.
