Richmond Raceway will play host to a pair of NASCAR events this weekend as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Cup Series take to the track on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, respectively.

After sustaining major damage in a multi-car pileup in the final stage of racing, Chris Buescher and the No. 17 Fastenal Ford team bounced back to finish 13th Sunday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway.

Ryan Newman’s final result wasn’t indicative of his overall performance at Martinsville Speedway, as he and the Guaranteed Rate team ran inside the top-five midway through the race and had to overcome two different on-track incidents, before ultimately finishing 19th.

Matt DiBenedetto and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team rallied from a mid-race incident that resulted in significant damage to the No. 21 Mustang and came home with a 12th place finish in Sunday’s Blue Emu 500 at Martinsville Speedway.
