The NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) has a standalone race in New Hampshire on Sunday, while the ARCA Menards Series completes its first doubleheader in Ohio this weekend.

With a longer gap than usual since the last NASCAR Cup Series event, the series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a standalone race Sunday afternoon. By the time Sunday rolls around, nine days will have passed since the race at Kansas Speedway, the 19th points event of 2020.

Chase Briscoe has the weekend off in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, but he’ll head to Road America nonetheless to compete in the PF Racing Ford Mustang GT4 with co-driver James Pesek as part of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race. That will mark the first of consecutive weekends he’ll race on the road course as the NXS cars will be there on Aug. 8.

The No. 34 Ford Mustang of Michael McDowell will be sporting a new look this weekend when it hits the track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway thanks to CP (Chicago Pneumatic) Compressors, a division of Chicago Pneumatic.

Brad Keselowski won a stage and led 30 laps on his way to a second-place finish Thursday night at Kansas Speedway. The driver of the Wabash Ford Mustang is second in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings, 97 points behind leader Kevin Harvick.

The No. 34 Dockside Logistics Ford Mustang of Michael McDowell took the green flag from the 27th position on Thursday night at Kansas Speedway. Under the Competition Caution on Lap 25, McDowell noted that his race car was "really loose" and would pit for 4 tires, fuel, wedge and a track bar adjustment.
