After a lengthy rain delay sent the race into the evening hours, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. drove his Fastenal Racing Ford to a 12th-place finish in Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Chicagoland Speedway.

In a rain-delayed 400-mile race Sunday afternoon at Chicagoland Speedway, Ryan Newman crossed the stripe 17th in his Oscar Mayer Ford Mustang.

Brad Keselowski saved his best for last Sunday evening at Chicagoland Speedway and was rewarded with a fifth-place finish in the Camping World 400. Keselowski claimed his seventh top-five of the 2019 season. He racked up his ninth consecutive top-10 at Chicagoland, a streak that dates back to 2011, pushing his average finish in 11 races at the track to 8.8.

"We had a top-20 run today. Obviously, we wanted a little more, but I’m really proud of everybody at Front Row Motorsports. My Love’s Travel Stops Ford was fast! Although we had a few little mishaps where we lost a bit of track position, we got it dialed in at the end and had a fast car, so it was a good day. Earning some stage points was fun, too. Now it’s off to Daytona where we try to build off of our P5 finish in the 500."

"This is what we needed. It feels good to earn our third pole award of 2019 and cap that off with a solid run in the Dow Univar Solutions Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. We led laps today and were fast enough to run in the top five, we just lost track position and it's so hard to recover from that."

Alex Bowman adds his name to the record books by winning the Camping World 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in his No. 88 Axalta Camaro ZL1, his first career MENCS victory.

“Yeah, I could see him struggle when I was getting to him, and when I got by him, I'm like, all right, good, he's going to be in my dirty air and get loose."

Erik Jones was the highest-finishing Camry driver as he crossed the line in the seventh position. It was Jones’ second straight top-10 finish, and third in the last four races.

We ran down the 42 and I thought if we could get by him we were catching the 88, together, both of us were. I just couldn’t get to his inside or outside and get a run."

Alex Bowman’s first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup victory at Chicagoland Speedway was as much a lesson in perseverance, determination and guts as it was a show of his raw talent. It took it all those qualities for the 26-year-old to reach Victory Lane for the first time in Sunday’s Camping World 400.
