COLE CUSTER, No. 00 Haas Automation Ford Mustang – “We were pretty fast at the start and I made a mistake speeding on pit road and that put us behind. We just didn’t have anything after about 40 laps. We worked hard and I thought we had a lot better shot at it, but we’ll move on to the next one.” YOU BACK TO THE TOP FIVE, BUT COULDN’T GET ALL THE WAY THERE. “I think we were a third-place car on the short run, but all of those guys were in the way and you just get stuck. It’s part of it, but we’ll come back better.”

Waffling Around? No. Reddick Aims to Cream the Competition upon Return to Talladega Superspeedway’s Sparks Energy 300

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Tyler Reddick says he won’t be “waffling” around when it comes to “creaming” the competition for the Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 28. Full Weekend Schedule for Bristol Motor Speedway

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series head to Bristol Motor Speedway, while the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is off. Check out the tentative full schedule below, subject to change.

Ty Majeski – Bristol Advance

Majeski on Bristol: “We tested Bristol a few weeks ago and I thought it went really well.  Obviously, I’ve never been there before, but it was good to get some seat time at such a unique track.  Mike (Kelley) made some good adjustments throughout the weekend and I was really happy with the car at the end of the two-day test.  Bristol is such a fast track with high banks.  You can’t see the exit going through the center of the turn.  You can’t see where you are headed when you get on the gas, so that was something new to get used to.”

Ryan Reed – Bristol Advance

Reed on Bristol: “Bristol is the number one track that I need to get better at as a driver. Dover was another of those tracks for me, but we went there last year and got a top five in the first race and struggled a little bit in the second, but we know we made a lot of gains there last year. Bristol we just need to hit the reset button. As a driver when you are struggling at a place you need to clear your mind going into the weekend and not let your past runs dictate what you are going to do this year. I’m looking at it like a clean slate and starting fresh.”
