Ross Chastain will make his fourth appearance at Michigan International Speedway in Saturday’s Menards 250 Xfinity Series race.

The Xfinity Series rolls into Michigan International Speedway this weekend for its only visit this season to the two-mile track in the Irish Hills.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and XFINITY Series travel to Michigan International Speedway this weekend while the Camping World Truck Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway. Please check below for the complete schedule of events.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has announced the addition of four drivers to its 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series team roster to compete in races at Iowa Speedway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America and Kentucky Speedway. The drivers will share seat time in the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro with crew chief Danny Stockman.

“Michigan was a little tough for me last year, but I’m ready to get back there and secure a much better result,” Black stated. “I’ve learned so much more since last August that I feel much more prepared for this race. I’m not going to be making the same mistakes I did last year and feel confident in myself and my team to grab a Top-20 finish.”

Dakoda will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Michigan International Speedway to go along with three prior starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and one in the ARCA Racing Series. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 16th at the Brooklyn, Michigan track which occurred in this event last season.

“Michigan is a pretty cool track to race on. You can carry a lot of speed down the straightaways and really make some moves. I’m looking forward to getting there with our LoudMouth Exhaust Mustang and seeing if we can get Ford in victory lane in their backyard.”

Ryan Reed has competed at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) twice in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In 2014, Reed finished 11th after starting 24th. In this race last season, Reed finished 19th after starting in the same position.

Richard Childress Racing at Michigan International Speedway ... In 154 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Michigan International Speedway, RCR teams have earned three wins, two with Dale Earnhardt (1987, 1990) and the most recent with Kevin Harvick (August 2010).

Garrett Smithley finished 27th in Saturday’s rain-shortened Pocono Green 250 XFINITY Series race at Pocono Raceway. The first XFINITY race in Pocono history was scheduled for 100 laps, but afternoon rain showers pelted the speedway and forced NASCAR to call the race after 53 laps. Smithley was caught a lap down by the rain.
