Ryan Reed has competed at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) twice in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In 2014, Reed finished 11th after starting 24th. In this race last season, Reed finished 19th after starting in the same position.

Garrett Smithley finished 27th in Saturday’s rain-shortened Pocono Green 250 XFINITY Series race at Pocono Raceway. The first XFINITY race in Pocono history was scheduled for 100 laps, but afternoon rain showers pelted the speedway and forced NASCAR to call the race after 53 laps. Smithley was caught a lap down by the rain.

The first Xfinity Series race in the history of Pocono Raceway was shorter than planned, but it was a good afternoon for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller driver Ryan Preece. Preece qualified 19th and finished 17th in the Pocono Green 250, which was scheduled for 100 laps but cut short to 53 because of persistent rain showers. Preece finished on the lead lap to score his fourth top-20 finish of the Xfinity season.

Ross Chastain finished 19th in the rain-shortened Pocono Green 250 Xfinity Series race Saturday at Pocono Raceway. The race, scheduled for 100 laps, was called official at the 53-lap mark when persistent rain showers kept portions of the track too wet for racing. Chastain, driving the Dream Water Chevrolet, started 29th and progressed smoothly through the field, finishing the race on the lead lap.

Joey Logano wheeled the blue and white liveried No. 22 SKF Ford Mustang to a fifth place finish after starting fifth in the inaugural Pocono Green 250 at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon. The race was cut short just after halfway as persistent precipitation moved into the area bringing a halt to an event filled with early excitement and a variation of strategy.

Paul Menard and the No. 2 Richmond / Menards Chevrolet Team Earn Seventh-Place Finish in Inaugural NASCAR XFINITY Series Race at Pocono Raceway. "We had a fast Richmond/Menards Chevrolet this weekend. We unloaded fast on Thursday and felt pretty good heading into qualifying. I messed up a little in Turn 1 during qualifying, but we definitely had a top-three car.

Camry driver Erik Jones (second) was the top-Toyota finisher in Saturday afternoon’s rain-shortened NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Pocono Raceway, an event won by Kyle Larson under caution. Jones started from the pole in the inaugural NXS race on the 2.5-mile track in Pennsylvania.

I just want to say I love the NASCAR XFINITY Series. I believe it has potential to return to its former glory and I have no problem with Cup drivers winning the occasional event (emphasis on "occasional"). I'm also a fan of Pocono. It's a big, unique, historic track that's been in NASCAR for many years and has a list of winners that reads like a Who's Who of the sport; Gordon, Earnhardt, Petty, Bonnett, Allison.
