NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers' Chase Elliott, Daniel Suárez, Regan Smith, and Ryan Reed are the first four competitors scheduled to appear at the NASCAR XFINITY Series autograph session at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday, May 1, kicking off the Winn-Dixie 300 and GEICO 500 weekend.

Today NASCAR unveiled modifications to the qualifying format taking place at superspeedways across all three national series. The updated format will take effect at Talladega Superspeedway’s May 1-3 spring weekend event featuring the GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Winn-Dixie 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series.

This Sunday, Harvick returns to the venue at which he last finished outside the top two – Martinsville Speedway – for the STP 500 (1 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1). (Kevin, if you’re reading, don’t watch this.) Harvick finished 33rd at “The Paperclip” in last year’s opener of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup’s Eliminator 8 Round.

NASCAR® and Sherwin-Williams, the nation’s largest specialty retailer of paint and paint supplies, announced a three-year extension to their Official Partnership. The newly signed extension will designate Sherwin-Williams as the “Official Paint of NASCAR” through 2017.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace ran in the top-five for the majority of Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Auto Club Speedway, before contact on a late-race restart dropped the No. 6 Roush Performance Mustang back in the field, ultimately finishing 12th.

Chris Buescher earned his third top-five finish of the season after a strong performance in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Auto Club Speedway propelled the No. 60 Fastenal Ford Mustang to a fifth-place finish. Buescher has not finished outside of the top-15 so far this season.

Brian Scott qualified second and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing driver at Auto Club Speedway.

Bakersfield, Calif. native Ryan Reed finished 11th on Saturday in the fifth NASCAR XFINITY Series race of the season at his home track of Auto Club Speedway (ACS).
