Friday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Bristol Motor Speedway marks the third start at the .53-mile short track for Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher. In his previous two starts at the track, the rookie of the year contender started no lower than 13th, with a best finish of seventh in last season’s spring race.

Ryan Reed – Bristol Advance

Ryan Reed travels to Bristol Motor Speedway for the third time in his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) career. In his two previous starts at the .53-mile track, Reed has finished 26th and 31st, respectively.

McClure Returns to NNS Competition at BMS

After taking a one-week hiatus, Eric McClure returns to Nationwide Series competition at his hometown track, Bristol Motor Speedway, on Fridaynight. This race will be his 16th event at the "World's Fastest Half-Mile" and his best finish of 21st came during the spring event in 2013. Earlier this year, the team struggled with the car's handling at BMS and, as a result, they posted a 27th-place finish.

Milka Duno’s 1st Race This Friday as 1st Hispanic Female Driver in NASCAR USA History

Milka Duno’s first NASCAR Nationwide Series race will be Friday, August 22 in the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This will mark the first time in NASCAR history that a Hispanic female driver will compete in a NASCAR national series race in the United States. Duno will compete in RAB Racing’s No. 29 Toyota Camry.

TriStar Motorsports Post-Race Report Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Mike Bliss qualified 20th for his 700th career NASCAR start. Early into the race Bliss was working his way through the field and gaining positions each lap. By lap 16, Bliss was scored in the 14th position and reporting that his Camry was losing side and rear grip. With 65 laps to go, the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry was running 11th and when the caution came out he reported his Camry was turning nicely.

Green Posts 29th-place Finish at Mid-Ohio

Having not raced the Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® car since June, Jeff Green headed to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to compete in Saturday's Second Annual Nationwide Children's Hospital 200, his third of five scheduled races in the No. 14 Camry this season. Qualifying 17th, the former series champion ran in the top-15 most of the 90-lap event and was scored in the second position with 20 laps remaining when the throttle hung open on the car sending it head-on into the tire barrier.

Blown Right-Front Tire Derails Buescher at Mid-Ohio

Making his first start at the 13-turn, 2.25-mile road course, After placing outside the top-15 in two of the practice sessions on Friday afternoon, James Buescher turned up the wick during qualifying and placed the No. 99 Toyota Care / Rheem Camry in the 11th start spot for the Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
