Ten races at 10 different tracks, all to determine the 16 drivers who will battle for one prize – the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship. That’s a lot of numbers. But there’s only one point: It’s an important time right now, and for those who remain winless, it’s vital.

Over the past four races, Landon Cassill has scored three top-15 finishes and one top 10 and has moved from 12th in Nationwide Series points to 10th. Cassill hopes to continue that momentum Friday night in the John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The race will be the 15th of the 33-race Nationwide Series season.

“It’s a tough track and hard to get a grip on, but I like that,” Earnhardt said. “We haven’t gotten the finishes we’ve wanted lately, so I’m looking at this weekend as a chance to kind of turn things around.”

BCL Auction has joined driver Jeffrey Earnhardt as sponsor of the team’s No. 4 Chevrolet in Friday’s Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway. Earnhardt will carry BCL colors in the John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 as he continues his first full-season run in Nationwide racing.

The state of Kentucky’s “Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over” campaign against driving under the influence will sponsor Landon Cassill’s No. 01 Chevrolet in Friday’s John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand ofIngersoll Rand, will team up with TriStar Motorsports to serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 19 Toyota Camry, driven by Mike Bliss, for Friday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Eric McClure will compete in his 239th-career Nationwide Series start and his 11th at Kentucky Speedway. In 10 starts, he has competed 85.4% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 28.4. He posted his track-best finish (22nd) during the second event at the speedway in 2012.

The last time the NASCAR Nationwide Series raced at Kentucky Speedway - in September of last year - Ryan Blaney found himself in victory lane at 1.5-mile track, earning his first-ever career Nationwide Series victory. Blaney started second and led a race-high 96 of the 200 laps en route to the win.

Clements’ determination to succeed in the face of what sometimes seems like insurmountable odds has made him a fan favorite. The engines in his cars are not the most current and the team often has to cut corners when it comes to new tires, parts and equipment. Some might call him an underdog but for many he is “The Fan’s Man.”

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team head to Kentucky with some good vibes. While the end result doesn't show it, the team gained some momentum at Road America last week with a strong showing until the weather changed their fate.
