Brendan Gaughan survived two early off-track excursions and a race in which much of the second half was contested in rain as cars rode on wet weather tires to win Saturday's Gardner Denver 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Road America.

Alex Tagliani will be behind the wheel of the No. 22 Discount Tire Mustang for Team Penske in this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Road America. Tagliani, who has four career NNS starts, including three on the road course in Montreal, has a career best finish of second (Montreal in 2011) and won the pole in Montreal in 2012.

“We are excited to go back to Road America with our Roush Performance Parts Mustang. We won there last year in the ARCA Series and I think that experience will help us get a great finish this weekend.”

Toyota drivers have won three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) events at Sonoma Raceway, including the last two by Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) drivers. In 2008, Camry driver Kyle Busch swept both road course races of the season with victories at California’s Sonoma Raceway and New York’s Watkins Glen International.

“I’m definitely excited about getting the chance to go road course racing this weekend at Road America. I really enjoy all of the challenges that come with racing on a road course. It’s something that we don’t normally get to do and I feel like it levels the playing field for everyone.

Eric McClure will return to the cockpit of the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry this weekend after a two-week hiatus. Saturday's Gardner Denver 200 will mark McClure's 238th-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his fifth at the historic four-mile, 14-turn road course in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

In 57 starts at the 10-turn stadium course, Richard Childress Racing owns two wins, with Dale Earnhardt in the 1995 Save Mart Supermarkets 300 and with Robby Gordon in the Save Mart 350 in 2003, one pole award (Earnhardt, 1995), 13 top-five and 23 top-10 finishes.
