Blake Koch and Compassion Racing Team Up for Michigan International Speedway

TriStar Motorsports is excited to announce that Blake Koch will be back behind the wheel of the No. 44 TriStar Motorsports Camry at Michigan International Speedway this weekend. Compassion Racing will serve as the primary sponsor on the No. 44 Camry for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the two-mile speedway.

James Buescher returns to Michigan International Speedway, a track in which he captured one of his two victories in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during the 2013 season. The victory was a special one for the Bueschers as it was the first race in which their son Stetson attended. Buescher has one previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at the two-mile D-shaped oval in 2002, where he started fourth and finished in the runner-up position.

After a disappointing qualifying result, James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem team started from the 21st position in the Buckle Up 200 at Dover International Speedway. Early in the 200-lap event, Buescher reported that he was loose on the landing of the corners and tight on the exit. It was shortly past the halfway point when Buescher fell a lap down to the leader.
