Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today its signing of 22-year-old Dakoda Armstrong, who will assume driving duties of the No. 43 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). The multi-year contract marks an ongoing commitment towards winning as the RPM team looks to build upon recent success.

Following a part-time schedule, Roush Fenway Racing announced mid-October that Ryan Reed will pilot the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop Diabetes SM Presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang full-time in 2014.

JR Motorsports announced today a new addition to its sponsorship palate, as Pinnacle Foods’ Armour® brand will be the primary sponsor on Kevin Harvick’s No. 5 Chevrolet for three NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2014. It will also receive associate sponsorship placement on the No. 5 for the entire 33-race season.

Subbing for the ill Eric McClure in the season's finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Jeff Green started the 200-lap event from the 29th position. He was quick to relay handling information on the orange and silver Toyota allowing the team to make several chassis adjustments to help the car's handling. Green earned the 'Lucky Dog' award during the first caution period that placed him back on the lead lap.
