Justin Allgaier returned to victory lane at Darlington Raceway Saturday afternoon in his JR Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet and ended a 34-race winless drought.

“Just being able to see the fans enjoying themselves whether it be in the campgrounds or the stands, we missed that for about 2 1/2 years with the pandemic,” he said. “I’m looking forward with a lot of anticipation to seeing that again.”

This week NASCAR travels to Darlington Raceway for the fan-favorite Throwback Weekend featuring special paint schemes and activities that pay tribute to NASCAR tradition.

The Walnut Cove, North Carolina, native is set to achieve a milestone start in his fourth season as an Xfinity Series crew chief.

The two-time Xfinity Series champion from Corning, California, is set to pilot Big Machine Racing's No. 48 entry for the upcoming two Xfinity Series events in May.

The 23-year-old Gragson from Las Vegas stormed to the lead during the third of three overtime attempts before holding off Jeffrey Earnhardt to grab his first victory at Talladega.

“Someone pinch me because I’m ready to wake up," Jeffrey said, "but I guess I’ll wait 'til after we’re parked in Victory Lane before I decide to wake up.”

The NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series travel to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. The ARCA Menards Series will also complete Saturday afternoon in the General Tire 250.

The 19-year-old Truck Series competitor from Talking Rock, Georgia, is set to make his first of three Xfinity Series career starts at Talladega Superspeedway in late April.

The 23-year-old native from Boston, Massachusetts, will be adding two additional Xfinity Series starts with Big Machine Racing to his 2022 racing schedule for late April.
