Bowman will pilot RAB Racing chassis No. 55 in Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race. This chassis last saw action at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 2012 where Patrick Carpentier piloted this Toyota Camry to a 29th-place finish.

A first lap incident sent RAB Racing's No. 99 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital/Toyota Care Camry piloted by Alex Bowman into survival mode for the rest of the Alliance Truck Parts 250 at Michigan International Speedway. In turns three and four on the first lap found Bowman and Brian Scott making contact, sending the No. 99 spinning, but with heavy right side damage.

Debuting a new sponsor and returning to a track that Cole Whitt had not finished out of the top-10 at , Michigan International Speedway posed some confidence for him and his TriStar team. At the end of the NASCAR Nationwide Series one & only practice in the “Irish Hills”, Whitt and Crew Chief Randy Cox felt they had a good Takagi Toyota Camry for Saturday’s Alliance Truck Parts 250.

That time of the year has come again when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series head for the first road courses of the season in Sonoma, CA and Elkhart Lake, WI, respectively.

Trevor Bayne had mixed results in his previous two outings at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. In 2010, Bayne started 20th and drove his way up through the pack to a top-10, finishing 10th. The next year, driving for Roush Fenway Racing, his car overheated leaving Bayne in 31st place.

For the first time this season, the drivers of the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will try their hand at a road course. The Flying J Travel Plaza team will head to Road America looking to turn heads. Annett may not be known for his road course success, but he has proved to his Crew Chief, Philippe Lopez, and the No. 43 team that he has what it takes to be there at the end.

Travis Pastrana will make his first road course start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) this weekend at Road America.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne flirted with first place several times throughout today’s Alliance Truck Parts 250 before securing his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Top-5 finish in as many races. Bayne and the No. 6 team battled to the end in the ROUSH CleanTech Ford Mustang, crossing the finish line in fifth place at Michigan International Speedway.

As rain loomed over Michigan International Speedway, every driver scrambled for position, and every crew chief formulated a strategy in an effort to beat Mother Nature. Several teams elected not to pit in an effort to gain track position hoping to be at the front of the pack in case a red flag fell on the field.
