RCR Event Preview – Darlington Raceway

Richard Childress is tied for third in all-time car owner victories with Holman-Moody and the Wood Brothers at Darlington Raceway with eight wins each. Dale Earnhardt collected all of RCR's victories at the South Carolina-based track. In 103 collective starts, RCR boasts 21 top-five and 35 top-10 finishes at the 1.366-mile egg-shaped oval with five different drivers including Clint Bowyer, Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Robby Gordon.

Fresh off a 7th place finish at Talladega, Mike Wallace and the No. 01 team will head to historic Darlington Raceway in South Carolina for the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 on Friday, May 10th. The race is a homecoming of sorts for JD Motorsports, with the team located in nearby Gaffney, SC.

Chris Buescher – Darlington Advance

Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Darlington Raceway this Friday and his fifth NNS start overall. In 2011, Buescher finished 17th at the 1.37-mile track.

Reed Sorenson Carries Momentum to the Lady in Black

Despite a 22nd place finish last week at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers team is headed to Darlington (S.C.) Raceway with a lot of momentum. The last two weeks, Reed Sorenson had strong runs with the potential of top-five finishes and consistently ran in the top-five during last week's race before getting caught up in an on-track accident among the leaders.

Trevor Bayne – Darlington Advance

This Friday, Trevor Bayne will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Darlington Raceway. He raced there once before in an NNS race and started ninth before finishing 16th. Bayne has not raced at Darlington during his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career.

Travis Pastrana – Darlington Advance

Travis Pastrana will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Darlington Raceway this Friday night. Last season, Pastrana made his second overall NNS start at the 1.37-mile track, finishing 17th.

Mike Wallace Talladega Post-Race

Mike Wallace and the No. 01 G&K Services team was rewarded with their first top-10 finish of the 2013 season at Talladega. The race included a dramatic last lap crash that Wallace drove through en-route to a 7th place finish.

McClure Involved in Multi-Car Accident in Aaron’s 312; Finished 23rd

Following a successful outing during the series’ first plate rate of the 2013 season, Eric McClure headed to Talladega Superspeedway looking for another top-10 finish.
