Michael Annett on Going to Richmond: “It’s always fun to go to Richmond and race under the lights. Night racing is full of beating and banging, and with the ‘Chase’ atmosphere surrounding the Cup guys this weekend I’m sure that will add to the racing excitement in both Series. I enjoy going to Richmond because I like short-track racing. We had a really good finish back in the spring and we are taking that same Pilot Flying J Ford back this weekend. I have high hopes of another good finish on Friday night at RIR.”

Stenhouse, Jr. on racing at Richmond International Raceway: “We’re coming off a huge win at Atlanta. Richmond is a fun track to race because it is the typical short track racing. We have been fast there in the past but have come up short. Hopefully we can get our first back-to-back win in our No. 6 Ford Ecoboost Mustang.”

Weekend Rewind: Atlanta - Prepared to turn things around after the previous weekend at Bristol, the BRANDT team went to work at the very fast, 1.54-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway. With the call of the night, crew chief Jimmy Elledge kept Justin Allgaier out on the track under a long, green-flag run in the waning laps of the 195-lap race. A timely caution allowed Allgaier to come to the attention of his team for new tires and fuel. He went on to score a fifth-place finish, his sixth top-five of the season.

Mike Wallace and his JD Motorsports w/Gary Keller teammate, Jeremy Clements, are looking to have a great night of racing at Richmond International Speedway in this Friday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Kyle Busch and the No. 54 Monster Energy team battled “Hot-Lanta” Saturday night hoping to claim victory on the 1.54-mile oval, famous for challenging drivers and crew chiefs. While they didn’t achieve the win they were pursuing, the young Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) team did accomplish their first pole position of the season with a fast lap of 176.280 mph. The Toyota group led two laps at the start of the event, and then battled a loose-handling car throughout the night, ultimately finishing the race in the seventh position. It was the new team’s 14th top-10 finish of the year.

X Games and Rally Cross champion Travis Pastrana will pilot Roush Fenway’s No. 60 entry in this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Speedway.

Mike Wallace and the No. 01 G&K Services Chevrolet and teammate Danny Efland in the No. 4 Tradebank Chevrolet had good result from their night of racing in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

James Buescher and the No. 30 Central Wire team overcame adversity over and over again throughout 300-mile race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, battling through handling issues and a bad set of tires, only to end the night with a wrecked racecar.
