On July 10, 2012, the National Stock Car Racing Appeals Panel heard and considered the appeal of the #41 Rick Ware Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series team.

“New Hampshire is a short, flat track that is fun to race. Last year we had a solid fourth place finish and led some laps. This track is unique which makes it challenging but I am looking forward to it. As an organization, we always want to run well at New Hampshire because it is in Fenway Sports Group and the Red Sox’s backyard. It would be extra special to get a win this weekend for them.”

RAB Racing and Michael Waltrip Racing announced today that Canadian driver Patrick Carpentier will drive RAB Racing with Brack Maggard’s No. 99 Napa Auto Parts Toyota in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal on Aug. 18.

Richard Childress is tied for third with Joe Gibbs and Roger Penske for all-time car owner victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with four wins - Robby Gordon (2001), Kevin Harvick (2006) and Clint Bowyer (2007 and 2010). In 84 starts at the 1.058-mile oval, Childress also boasts two pole awards, 14 top-five and 32 top-10 finishes with nine different drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Mike Skinner, Harvick, Gordon, Jeff Green, Steve Park, Dave Blaney, Bowyer and Jeff Burton.

Following his second top-15 run in the past 3 races, the morale in the MacDonald Motorsports shop is at an all-time high. Halfway through the season and on race five of a 16 race non-stop swing, Jason Bowles and his American Majority No. 81 Toyota team are very pleased with the way things have been going.

Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Racing™ team were on track to earning a career-best finish at Daytona Int’l Speedway, until a green-white-checkered finish trapped the Virginia driver in the bottom lane, forcing him to settle for an 18th-place finish.

This weekend we headed back to Florida for the second race that is held at Daytona International Speedway. The July race is known for hot temperatures, patriotism, celebrating our freedom and fireworks.
