The COPD Foundation’s DRIVE4COPD national public health initiative announced today that it has renewed its title sponsorship for the DRIVE4COPD 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway through 2014.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished fifth (Austin Dillon), eighth (Paul Menard) and 11th (Elliott Sadler).

Michael Annett started the 125-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Michigan International Speedway from the 18th position. Annett finished the Alliance Truck Parts 250 as follows:

MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 43 Pilot/Flying J Ford Mustang “It was definitely a very interesting race. It kind of felt like cars on a slot car track out there. The final three or four laps were exciting so I guess the fans did get a good show."

A day after numerous teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series topped the 200 MPH mark, the speeds continued to be the theme. And the speeds only got faster after the teams fine-tuned their cars.

Fourth in Nationwide standings, 50 points behind leader Elliott Sadler and 28 ahead of fifth-place Justin Allgaier.
