When the checkered flag flew over the twisting and turning course of Road America in last year’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race, Mike Wallace and the No. 01 Chevrolet team of JD Motorsports was all smiles.

Matt Bell, a regular and winning driver on the Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series, will make his NASCAR debut this weekend driving for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc.

Welcome Aboard, Victor ... Victor Gonzalez Jr. will make his debut for RAB Racing with Brack Maggard this weekend, driving the Delta Commercial/IMCA Toyota Camry in Saturday's Sargento 200 at Road America.

There's a First Time for Everything... Brazilian driver Miguel Paludo will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut this weekend at Road America when he gets behind the wheel of the No. 32 Duroline Brakes and Components Chevrolet Impala.

This weekend RFR and NASCAR take their first ‘right-turns’ of the season with road course action split across the country. The Sprint Cup Series travels to the wine country of northern California for a showdown at Sonoma, while the Nationwide Series heads to Road America in Wisconsin.

Jason Bowles and the NASCAR Nationwide Series will be heading to the first of three road course races of the 2012 season this weekend at Road America.

Last night at the American Business Awards (ABA’s) in New York City, NASCAR won two awards for special events that were created by NASCAR for official partners.
