Michael Annett started the 250-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Iowa Speedway from the 18th position. Annett finished the Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 as follows:

Parker Kligerman (No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger) Finished 8th “A solid day for the Discount Tire Dodge Challenger. Not exactly the day I was hoping for other than we had clean car at the end, ran solid all day and brought home a top-10 finish."

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the Second annual Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race Sunday afternoon. Stenhouse won in convincing fashion, with a 1.465 second margin of victory.

Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 12 Detroit Genuine Parts Dodge Challenger) Qualified 2nd HOW WAS YOUR QUALIFYING RUN? “The run was good in our Detroit Genuine Parts Dodge. We’ve had a good start to the season. To be fourth in the points with some of the holes that we’ve dug ourselves so far this year, we feel pretty good about it."

For the second time in his three Nationwide Series races at Iowa Speedway, Elliott Sadler will start Sunday’s race from the pole.

New to the Charlotte Motor Speedway menu for 2012, Levy Restaurants, the speedway's food partner, is serving up deep-fried cupcakes, among other things.

While NASCAR driver Matt Carter continues to pursue sponsorship in order to return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) scene, he has been hustling in the garage area over the past month working in a variety of roles with Go Green Racing (GGR).

“We had a good car last year at Iowa and led a bunch of laps, but unfortunately ran over a piece or debris and cut down a tire. It doesn’t have very long straightaways at all, so you’re constantly turning. I like it a lot.”

Jeremy Clements is following a racing family tradition and is determined to add his name to the legacy.
