With a list of movie and TV credits to his name, actor Jay Hernandez is adding one more credit to the list – Grand Marshal of the Hollywood Casino 400.  On Oct. 22, he will be saying the most famous words in motorsports “Drivers, start your engines” for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race.

As part of the Phoenix Raceway Project Powered by DC Solar, Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that the new, luxury suite experience Curve will be unveiled during the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series semifinal race weekend on Nov. 10-12. Curve is the first element of the modernization project that will be available to fans.

Success was celebrated on Friday, as students who especially excelled in the Darlington Raceway/Darlington County School District Summer Reading Program were awarded medals by seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

Dover International Speedway officials announced today the entitlement partner for the upcoming Oct. 1 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race – the “Apache Warrior 400 presented by Lucas Oil.”

The Our Story, an expertly-curated stream of video and photo Snaps, will provide a unique, behind-the-scenes look at The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR from the perspective of fans and drivers during race day in Darlington, South Carolina on Sept. 3.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers and Coca-Cola Racing family members Joey Logano, Austin Dillon and Ryan Newman, along with defending Bojangles’ Southern 500 champion Martin Truex Jr. are all scheduled to make appearances in the Darlington Stripe Zone Fan Hospitality.
