Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Talladega Superspeedway’s most recent winner, has been named the first driver scheduled to take part in the track’s Pre-Race Fan Question & Answer Session at the start-finish line on Sunday, Oct. 25, prior to the start of the Alabama 500.

With a Richmond win already on his 2015 resume, Kurt Busch tried to sneak a second checkered flag in before the rest of the NASCAR field returns in September. That was, until a couple of campers had something to say about it.

The popular alternative band X Ambassadors will visit Dover International Speedway on Oct. 4 and perform a free concert before the “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The race serves as race No. 3 in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, and the first elimination race in NASCAR’s playoff format. X Ambassadors lead singer Sam Harris will also perform the National Anthem prior to the start of the race.

As part of the new Ultimate Fan Pass, available for the first time before the Oct. 4, 2015 “AAA 400” event, 100 fans will have a never-before-available opportunity.

Pure Michigan announced the results of the Pure Michigan 400 Honorary Starter Contest today, naming Kyle Brow of Vassar, Mich. as the 2015 Pure Michigan 400 Honorary Starter. Michael Harris, Executive Director of Paralyzed Veterans of America Michigan Chapter, has been named 2015 Pure Michigan 400 Grand Marshal.
