TOBY KEITH GRAND MARSHAL FOR NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP RACE IN MIAMI

Singer-songwriter, actor, and music producer Toby Keith will serve as Grand Marshal for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, November 17. Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer made the announcement.

DESTINEE QUINN TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM PRIOR TO LUCAS OIL 150 AT PIR

Valley of the Sun native Destinee Quinn will perform “The Star Spangled Banner” live at Phoenix International Raceway prior to the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Series race on Friday, Nov. 8, track officials announced today. The Lucas Oil 150 is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. MST.

PIR ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC AND FAN GUIDELINES FOR NOVEMBER 8-10 ADVOCARE 500 RACE WEEKEND

Phoenix International Raceway is encouraging fans to prepare for race day traffic by arriving early and enjoying the full NASCAR experience during the AdvoCare 500 event weekend, Nov. 8-10. PIR will finish its 2013 NASCAR season with four races, culminating with the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday at 1 p.m. MST., the semifinal in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

(Next Big Thing) and Epic Records' Fifth Harmony will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” live at Phoenix International Raceway prior to the ServiceMaster 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race (Saturday, Nov. 9, 2 p.m. MST), PIR President Bryan R. Sperber announced today. The group’s performance was arranged through a partnership between PIR, Radio Disney Phoenix and the NASCAR Entertainment Group.

Fans attending the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway will be treated to hearing from some of NASCAR’s top drivers, including Danica Patrick and Clint Bowyer, prior to the action on the track.

SAFEWAY TO OPERATE ON-SITE GROCERY STORE AT PIR

Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that Safeway will operate an on-site grocery store in the camping area at the race track beginning this fall with PIR’s AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend Nov. 8-10. The nation’s fourth-largest grocery chain, Safeway will be the official grocery partner of Phoenix International Raceway offering snacks and campground essentials.
