Self on Racing at Iowa: “Even though we didn’t get the finish we wanted at Texas, I’m really proud of this Niece Motorsports team,” said Self. “I really feel that we have the trucks capable of running inside the top-10,” said Self. “Cody (Efaw, crew chief) and myself have raised our communication up a notch, and I think everyone’s been able to see that over the past couple of races."

Fontaine on Racing at Iowa: “It’s been a couple tough races, but I’m eager to get back to some familiar territory this weekend at Iowa,” said Fontaine. “Iowa is a good place to get some of that mojo back. It’s a standalone race, so there’s a lot of attention on us, and I think my Niece Motorsports team is capable of going to Iowa this weekend and getting our third top-10 of 2018.

Excited to return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) scene, JJL Motorsports heads to Iowa Speedway this weekend confident about contending for a win in Saturday night’s M&M’s 200 presented by Casey’s General Store.

Texas Motor Speedway was the host for the eighth race of the 2018 season for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. While there were some notables that placed in the top 10, there were also some of the same familiar faces at the top.

Coughlin will pilot chassis no. 118 at Iowa Speedway this weekend, a chassis that the No. 2 team has utilized two times already this season, including for Coughlin’s best finish so far of the 2018 NCWTS season of sixth at Dover. GMS Racing teammate Johnny Sauter also used this same chassis in five races in 2017, collecting one win and four top-five finishes.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was in the heat of the heartland this past Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway. There were definitely some thrills and spills, but some guy named Johnny Sauter who has been victorious multiple times this season topped this week's power rankings.

GMS Racing’s No. 24 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver, Justin Haley will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) debut in the No. 23 entry at Iowa Speedway. The Indiana-native will run at Daytona International Speedway (July 6) in a second GMS Racing entry and will additionally run at Watkins Glen International (August 4).

Although he didn't lead until Lap 117, Johnny Sauter still managed to gain his fourth victory of 2018, taking the win over polesitter Stewart Friesen by 0.092 seconds in the PPG 400. The margin of victory was the closest in Truck Series history at Texas Motor Speedway, besting the June 2006 event which had a margin of victory of 0.116 seconds.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series head to Michigan International Speedway this weekend, while the Camping World Truck Series is at Texas Motor Speedway. Check out the full schedule below, subject to change.

Self on Racing at Texas: “I always enjoy coming back to Texas,” said Self. “It’s my hometown track, so there’s always pressure to perform. It’s pressure that I don’t mind though. There’s a lot of people who have sacrificed a lot to give me a chance to race and competing at Texas is one of those opportunities to show them how grateful I am.
