Race Recap: Ron Hornaday approached the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Talladega Superspeedway looking to improve on his 2011 finish at the 2.66-mile track by just one position.

James Buescher, his team and the No. 31 Koike Aronson Ransome Turner Motorsports Chevrolet rolled into the biggest track on the NASCAR circuit. Just one point out of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championship point standings lead, the team needed a clean race with their sights on the big goal: the championship.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start number 300 for Red Horse Racing was the charm for driver Parker Kligerman and the No. 7 Toyota Tundra team at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday. Rebounding from an unscheduled pit stop to replace a faulty battery with less than 20 laps to go, Kligerman made a power move to charge back to the front with just a few short laps remaining to capture his first career series win in the fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished fourth (Ty Dillon), ninth (Tim George Jr.) and 14th (Joey Coulter). Dillon is the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver championship point leader by one marker; Coulter ranks fifth in the standings.

Tundra driver Parker Kligerman claimed his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory in Saturday afternoon's race at Talladega Superspeedway.

To bring this Draw-Tite RAM home fifth is really cool for everyone at BKR (Brad Keselowski Racing). This was the first time that Draw-Tite was on the truck with me driving it.

Parker Kligerman won his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory in Red Horse Racing's "magic truck" at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday.

Dillon took the top starting spot for Saturday's Fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola with a lap of 177.291 mph. It was his third career pole in just twenty one starts in the series.

Jason White on Talladega: “Talladega is a really exciting and fun place to race. We have been really strong there, as well as Daytona, and we expect the same again this week. It is always crucial to stay out of any trouble at Talladega and sometimes that just takes a lot of luck as well as a strong truck. Also, you must have some good drafting partners and we have been able to do that the last few times here so I think we have some things lined up and hopefully they play out in our favor.”

Ross Chastain is ready to get back up on the wheel this weekend as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to the largest and fastest track that the series visit’s every year.
