After an aggressive offseason of building race trucks and preparing for their first race of the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) season, Friday night’s NextEra Energy Resources 250 provides an opportunity for CFR to strut their stuff at the historic Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series head to Daytona International Speedway this weekend to kick off the 2019 season.

Stewart Friesen returns for his second full-time NGOTS season with Halmar Friesen Racing.

The reigning ARCA Series champion will compete for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors with GMS Racing in his first full-time NGOTS season. Creed led 35 laps and finished third in the 2018 ARCA Series event at Daytona.

DGR-Crosley announced today that team co-owner David Gilliland will drive the team's No. 17 entry in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season opener at Daytona (Fl.) International Speedway. Gilliland's Toyota Tundra will carry sponsorship from Fred's, a general merchandise retailer with over 600 locations nationwide.

NASCAR is bringing a unique twist to the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Series. Announced on Monday, NASCAR will introduce a Triple Truck Challenge, almost similar to the "Dash 4 Cash" in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Fans will have to get used to the new name, as they have been calling it the Camping World Truck Series. It's just the fourth new sponsor for the series since its inspection in 1995.
