Ross Chastain on Racing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park: “I’m excited to go road course racing this weekend,” said Chastain. “It’s a little different challenge than we are accustomed to in these trucks, but I’m ready for it. I know my Niece Motorsports team has prepared me a fast CarShield Chevrolet.”

Gary Klutt on Racing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park: “This has been my favorite race weekend of the year, since the Truck Series started coming up and running here,” said Klutt. “The trucks have taken a couple of outings for me to really get the hang of, the differences being, radial tires, truck arm suspension, and better aero. These trucks feel quite a bit different than our Pinty’s cars, so I’m anxious to get out for the first practice session and get up to speed. I’m excited to be working with Niece Motorsports and crew chief Kevin Eagle. I think that we have a good shot at this race. I feel that as I mature, I just keep learning this track and how to extract speed from it. I think that really showed this spring here at CTMP.”

Tyler Ankrum will take on the 2.5-mile road course of Canadian Tire Motorsports Park this weekend as the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series travels internationally for the second Playoff race of the season. Sunday's 64 lap race will make the first time that 18-year-old Ankrum has raced on the road course in Bowmanville, Ontario.

Sheldon Creed has four road course starts in a NASCAR sanctioned series. He has one top 10 at Sonoma in 2017 in the K&N Pro Series West.

A native of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Stewart Friesen returns home for the lone road course event on the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series schedule. Friesen scored a top-10 finish in his only prior start at the track.

Ross Chastain on Racing at Bristol: “We’ve put last week behind us and are really looking forward to kicking off the playoffs this week at Bristol,” said Chastain.  “This is a place where I thoroughly enjoy racing.  It was this race last year where I made my first start for Niece Motorsports.  It’s been a dream come true, and we’re looking to keep the magic going.  We can’t thank CarShield enough for coming on board and supporting us as we chase this Championship.”

Sheldon Creed has one prior start at Bristol Motor Speedway in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2017 where he started second and finished 11th.
