ARCA Menards Series at Daytona International Speedway: General Tire 200 Practice Notes and Results

  • As the organization did in the January Pre-Race Practice, Nitro Motorsports swept the top six positions in the running order in practice for the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at Daytona International Speedway. Former Talladega Superspeedway winner Jake Finch (No. 15 Phoenix Toyota) led the way over 2024 Daytona winner Gus Dean (No. 25 CAB Installers / IMPACT Toyota), Thomas Annuniata (No. 70 JBL Toyota), Isabella Robusto (No. 55 Mobil 1 Toyota), Wesley Slimp (No. 90 Road Ready Foundation Toyota), and Jake Bollman (No. 20 SynerFuse Toyota). Finch’s fast lap was 48.878 seconds / 184.132 miles per hour.
  • NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular Daniel Dye (No. 24 Champion Container Ford) was the fastest non-Nitro Motorsports car in the 55-minute session. Dye timed in at 49.110 seconds / 183.262 miles per hour.
  • KLAS Motorsports teammates Glen Reen (No. 07 New Wave Bath Ford) and Andy Jankowiak (No. 71 Dak’s Markets Chevrolet) were eighth and ninth respectively. Reen’s lap was 49.121 seconds / 183.221 miles per hour; Jankowiak timed in at 49.143 seconds / 183.139 miles per hour.
  • Jason Kitzmiller (No. 97 A.L.L. Construction / Carter CAT Chevrolet) was tenth with a quick lap of 49.159 seconds / 183.079 miles per hour. Jack Wood (No. 28 Road Ranger Chevrolet) turned in the exact same lap time driving for Pinnacle Racing Group, the reigning ARCA Menards Series championship team and the defending winners at Daytona. The team won last year with Brenden “Butterbean” Queen driving.
  • Other notables include Timothy “Mini” Tyrell (No. 17 RAM Trucks Chevrolet) in 12th, Gio Ruggiero (No. 18 1st Auto Group Toyota) in 13th, Garett Mitchell (No. 30 Kenetik Ford) in 16th, Taylor Reimer (No. 77 BuzzBallz Chevrolet) in 27th, and former Daytona pole sitter Willie Mullins (No. 3 CorvetteParts.net Ford) in 31st.
  • Caleb Costner (No. 93 Piedmont Outfitters Toyota) stalled exiting pit road to bring out the only caution period of the 55-minute session.
  • The 40-car starting field for the General Tire 200 will be determined in Friday’s Sioux Chief PowerPEX Pole Qualifying. Drivers will be sent out in groups of eight cars – one group will be made up of eight cars – for four minutes, which should be enough for three timed laps. Each driver’s fasted lap will be the lap of record. The top 32 drivers will lock in on speed, with four provisionals reserved based on 2025 owner points and four positions reserved for eligible Golden A teams.
  • The ARCA Menards Series returns to Daytona International Speedway in February for the 63rd Annual Daytona ARCA 200. Gus Dean Carries Momentum into Daytona ARCA Season Opener with Nitro Motorsports

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: In his last two trips to Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, three-time ARCA Menards Series winner Gus Dean has left the World Center of Racing on top.

Now, ahead of his ARCA Menards Series return in Saturday afternoon’s General Tire 200, the Bluffton, South Carolina native rides a wave of momentum at a track that, prior to the 2024 season, had long been his arch nemesis.

Dean will make his first ARCA Menards Series start since the middle of the 2024 season at Michigan International Speedway this weekend, marking his debut with Nitro Motorsports as part of a limited schedule for the organization in 2026.

Touted as one of the discipline’s premier superspeedway racers, Dean aims to continue refining his craft and leave the 2.5-mile oval with his second consecutive checkered flag at the World Center of Racing.

Dean returned to the Daytona International Speedway last month, pacing a five-car contingent of Nitro Motorsports Toyota Camrys around the historic 2.5-mile oval and posting the fastest lap during preseason testing.

Nearly a month later, Dean remains upbeat about his return to Daytona, aiming to deliver Nitro Motorsports its most significant victory yet in ARCA Menards Series competition.

“Daytona has definitely become one of my favorite places to race,” said Dean.

“For a long time, it felt like this place owed us one, but the last couple of trips have shown what we’re capable of when everything comes together.

“Nitro Motorsports brought a lot of speed to the test, and I’m confident we’ll unload with something we can contend with on Saturday. If we execute, manage the draft and put ourselves in position late, I like our chances.”

Paired with new crew chief Shane Wilson, Dean said the chemistry between driver and veteran leader was almost immediate.

With Wilson’s proven track record on superspeedway-style tracks, Dean believes the partnership provides all the right ingredients to secure his fourth career victory in the ARCA Menards Series.

“Shane has won a lot of races at this level and has been part of some major superspeedway programs,” Dean said.

“From the first conversation, we were on the same page about what I need in the car and how these races tend to play out. Daytona is all about preparation and putting yourself in position at the end, and I feel like with Shane on top of the box, we have the experience and leadership to make the right calls when it matters most.”

With 50 cars expected for the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway, the avid Mud Truck winner understands the level of competition will mirror — if not exceed — what he faced in 2024.

Still, with every race comes an opportunity to learn, adapt and make a positive statement on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

Dean is hungry.

Hungry to return to Victory Lane, prove his recent success at Daytona is no fluke and cement his place as one of the premier superspeedway racers in the ARCA Menards Series garage.

“Daytona means a lot to me and my family,” Dean said. “We’ve poured so much into this sport over the years, and to have the opportunity to win at a place like this — it’s special.

“The history here, the atmosphere, everything about it raises the stakes. I’d love nothing more than to give Nick Tucker and everyone at Nitro Motorsports a milestone win. They’ve worked incredibly hard to build this program, and being able to put them in Victory Lane at Daytona would mean just as much to me as it would to them.”

Ahead of his 71st career start in the ARCA Menards Series, Dean’s No. 25 Nitro Motorsports Toyota will carry support from CAB Installers, Impact Racing and Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members.

The partnership adds additional meaning to Dean’s return to Daytona, as the team looks to honor those who have sacrificed while competing on one of the sport’s grandest stages.

“It’s an honor to represent CAB Installers, Impact Racing and Folds of Honor this weekend,” Dean said.

“Anytime you can race for something bigger than yourself, especially at a place like Daytona, it adds even more motivation to get the job done.”

In 70 career ARCA Menards Series starts, Dean has earned two poles, three victories, 22 top-five and 41 top-10 finishes entering his ninth series start at Daytona International Speedway.

Top 5 Display Cases: The Best Way to Display Autographed NASCAR Cards at Home

You finally scored that Dale Jr. on-card signature, but a shoebox won’t stop ink that can fade 100 times faster in direct sun. So how do we balance wow-factor and preservation?

We stress-tested today’s most talked-about frames, cabinets, and travel cases, then ranked the five that solved distinct collector pains—UV protection, lockable security, road-show portability, and budget-friendly hero stands.

Ready? Let’s mount those cards like the trophies they are.

How we picked the five winners

We approached display cases the way a crew chief studies a setup sheet: measure everything, then tune for performance.

First, we built a scorecard that weighted five essentials: protection, presentation, capacity, price, and extras such as locks or modular panels. Each case faced a 100-point test, and UV shielding claimed the largest share because faded ink is a deal-breaker. The framework mirrors the point system AllClash used in its 2025 head-to-head roundup, so our numbers rest on proven ground.

Next, we gathered the ten most discussed products from hobby stores, Amazon charts, and forum threads. Specs told only half the story, so we compared lab claims with owner reviews to see whether a lock stays aligned after a year or if foam stops slabs from rattling.

Finally, we matched each case to a clear scenario: one-card hero piece, road-show workhorse, gallery-wall stunner, and more. The five ahead aren’t just the top scorers; they solve five distinct collector challenges.

5. BCW Acrylic Card Stand: best for a single grail on a shoestring

Picture one autograph that means the world to you, maybe Jeff Gordon’s rookie ink or a fresh pit-lane signature from Chase Elliott. That lone trophy deserves a stage, yet you would rather spend hobby cash on the next pack, not on furniture.

Enter the clear, two-piece BCW Acrylic Card Stand. Pop the plates apart, slip a sleeved card between their polished faces, snap them shut, then rest the block on its tiny easel. Setup takes ten seconds and zero tools, so even a first-time collector feels like a pro.

BCW Acrylic Card Stand

Because the block is acrylic, it filters a fair slice of UV while showing off edges with jewel-case clarity. Keep it out of direct sunlight and you gain years of display time without worrying about fade. Owner reviews on AllClash praise the stand’s smooth edges and tight tolerances, noting no wobble and no unwanted gaps.

Cost, speed, and shine make this stand the hobby’s simplest upgrade. It turns any desk, shelf, or bookcase into a mini Hall of Fame and frees your grail from storage boxes. For collectors testing the waters, or veterans who want a rotating “card of the week,” few options offer more value per dollar.

4. POIUNA aluminum showcase: best portable case for card shows

Card shows move fast. You hustle from table to table, trade, buy, sell, then hit the road again. Your autographs need a pit box that travels just as well.

The POIUNA aluminum briefcase fills that role. Closed, it is a silver shell with keyed latches and reinforced corners. Open, it lies flat so rows of graded slabs sit under a clear lid, instantly turning the case into a countertop display. Collectors load roughly twenty-five PSA slabs, or close to a hundred raw cards in top-loaders, without a single rattle because foam channels grip each piece.

Security matters in a crowded hall, and twin locks discourage grab-and-go theft. The acrylic window blocks most UV, so ink stays crisp under harsh convention lighting. At about eight pounds loaded, you can carry it all day, then slide it under a hotel bed like a slimline safe.

Back home, many owners leave the case propped open on a shelf. It doubles as a dust-proof display drawer that shows off prized cards while keeping curious fingers out. If you need show-floor polish paired with road-worthy protection, this briefcase checks every box.

3. Niubee 8-card frame: best wall display for small, growing collections

Wall space is limited, yet a blank spot above the desk can turn into a mini gallery in minutes. That is where Niubee’s clear-acrylic frame shines. It cradles eight graded slabs in two tidy rows of four, protected by a magnetic door that lifts with a fingertip when you want to rotate cards.

The frame weighs less than a hardcover book, so standard drywall anchors keep it level. Its all-clear build seems to disappear, letting border colors and foil parallels pop without distraction. Because the acrylic panel filters most UV, autographs stay bold when you hang the frame away from direct sun.

Collectors praise Niubee for flexibility. Start with a handful of signatures, then mount another frame beside the first as the collection grows. The wall looks intentional, almost gallery curated, without the cost or heft of a full-size cabinet.

Stock can run low, so order when you spot it. At roughly fifty dollars, it offers a modular display that grows with your fandom and keeps your top eight cards in daily view.

2. DisplayGifts Pro UV cabinet: best one-stop wall vault for big collections

Some collectors track full driver rosters, year-by-year champions, even every Daytona 500 winner. A spread that wide needs a permanent, high-capacity home, heavier than a plastic frame yet sleeker than a gun safe.

DisplayGifts meets that need with a furniture-grade cabinet that holds thirty-six graded slabs on six felt-lined shelves. Close the acrylic door and two cam locks click shut, placing your cards behind 98 percent UV filtration and a dust-tight seal. Review aggregators note the “museum look without the custom-frame bill,” praising solid hinges and velvet backing that makes chrome refractors glow.

The cabinet arrives fully assembled. Two screws secure a built-in cleat, then gravity does the rest. At roughly fifteen pounds loaded, it feels substantial yet still sits closer to the wall than many framed canvases. Install a second cabinet beside the first and the display reads as a single gallery, perfect for a hallway or bonus room fan cave.

The price hovers around one-sixty, and you may want a friend to help lift it, but the cost per card beats most smaller frames. For Hall of Fame-sized collections, this cabinet turns raw volume into a statement piece.

1. Vaulted Display Vault Air: best overall mix of style and safeguard

Great collections deserve wall space that feels intentional, almost gallery clean. Vaulted’s Display Vault Air delivers that look while ending two common worries: UV damage and card slippage, thanks to a UV-rated magnetic window and Friction Fit™ foam documented on www.VaultedCollection.com.

Vaulted Display Vault Air
Vaulted Display Vault Air official product page screenshot

The frame weighs less than two pounds and uses a carbon-textured composite for a modern finish. An ultra-clear acrylic window blocks nearly all ultraviolet light, so autographs stay vivid through many seasons of sunshine. Behind the pane, ten precision-cut foam slots grip PSA, BGS, or CGC slabs tight; knock the frame, and the cards stay put.

Installation takes longer to fetch the stud finder than to hang the unit. Drive two screws through the backplate, lift off the window, press slabs into the foam, snap the cover on, and you are done. The frame sits just over an inch off the wall, so it reads more like a premium poster than a bulky case.

Collectors praise the expansion concept: start with one frame for your top ten grails, then tile two or more as the collection grows. The cost per slot runs higher than budget plastic, yet each slot carries museum-grade protection and showroom impact. For most readers, that blend of looks, defense, and ease places Display Vault Air at the top of the podium.

Display and preservation tips for autograph cards

Display and preservation tips for autograph cards

Sunlight is autograph enemy number one. Even premium UV acrylic slows but does not stop chemical fade, so mount frames where direct sun never lands. A north-facing wall or a spot behind blinds keeps ink vibrant for years.

Air comes next. A sealed case blocks dust, yet humidity still sneaks in. Slip a silica packet behind the door or inside a briefcase to hold relative humidity near 40–50 percent. If your display lives in a basement, a room-size dehumidifier will pay for itself during the first sticky August.

Keep cleaning simple. Skip ammonia sprays that can fog acrylic; instead mist a microfiber cloth with plain water and wipe in straight lines. Spend five seconds per panel each month to stop fingerprints from turning into hairline scratches.

Handle cards like lab samples. When you rotate displays, grip slabs by the edges or pull on cotton gloves. Finger oils etch chrome finishes over time, and a careless slip can chip a corner for good.

Follow these four habits, and every case in this guide delivers full value from day one through many race seasons.

Conclusion

From single-card stands to furniture-grade wall vaults, these five display solutions let collectors protect prized NASCAR autographs while putting them on full, envy-inducing view. Choose the case that fits your collection today, then expand with confidence knowing each option balances preservation and presentation.

James Hinchcliffe Teams Up With Spire Motorsports for Craftsman Truck Series Debut

IndyCar Staple to Pilot No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST in Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (February 12, 2026) – Six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES winner James Hinchcliffe will make his NASCAR debut Feb. 28 in the inaugural NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Hinchcliffe, an Ontario, Canada, native and 2011 INDYCAR Rookie of the Year, will pilot the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Spire Motorsports on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn street course, the site of his first INDYCAR victory in 2013.

Delaware Life will serve as the team’s primary sponsor for the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series inaugural visit to the “Streets of St. Pete.”

“I am super excited to run my first truck race at St. Pete,” said Hinchcliffe. “When they announced the trucks would be running there, I knew I had to try to make something happen because I just love this track and I have always wanted to try something in the NASCAR world. I have been in the Spire family for a long time, so it just made sense to run with them. I can’t thank Dan (Towriss), Jeff (Dickerson), Bill (Anthony) – really everyone at Spire – enough for making this come together.

“It will be a baptism of fire,” Hinchcliffe continued. “Having my first race in a truck being on a street course with no room for error, but these races always look like so much fun, so I am really looking forward to the opportunity. Plus, I love that it’s going to be shown on FOX Sports, with some of my INDYCAR colleagues joining the broadcast, so that should add an extra layer of fun to it.”

Over an 11-year INDYCAR SERIES career that spanned 2011-2021, Hinchliffe collected 18 podium finishes in 161 starts. The first three of six total wins came in 2013 with Andretti Global, a pillar component of TWG Motorsports. Known affectionately as the “Mayor of Hinchtown,” the 39-year-old driver’s charismatic personality contributed to two INDYCAR Fan Favorite Awards (2012 and 2018) and eventually led to a transition to the broadcast booth in 2022.

“James had an amazing open-wheel career with wins and poles across all kinds of formulas, but I’m not even sure he’s ever watched a NASCAR race.” quipped Spire Motorsports Co-Owner Jeff Dickerson. “I know it means a little more to (Co-Owner) Dan (Towriss) and I, personally, to be able to do this with him and when he called Dan and wanted to give it a go it seemed right on brand for all of us. This definitely won’t be the first time we’ve been out on a ledge together. We’re all really grateful to Delaware Life for coming along for the ride and giving us a weekend to remember.”

After retiring from the driver’s seat at the conclusion of the 2021 season, Hinchcliffe transitioned to broadcasting, serving as an analyst with NBC Sports from 2022-2024. He currently contributes to Formula One coverage as part of the F1 TV broadcast team and joined FOX Sports as a race analyst for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES beginning in 2025.

Hinchcliffe will pull double duty during race weekend as NASCAR and INDYCAR take on the streets of St. Petersburg, competing behind the wheel in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series before shifting to the FOX broadcast booth to cover the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

The 80-lap Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be televised live on FOX Saturday, Feb. 28, beginning at noon Eastern Daylight Time. The third of 25 races on the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series schedule will also be broadcast live on the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Channel 90.

About Spire Motorsports …
Spire Motorsports fields full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and High Limit Racing.

The team, co-owned by longtime NASCAR industry executive Jeff Dickerson and TWG Motorsports CEO Dan Towriss, earned its inaugural NASCAR Cup Series victory in its first full season of competition when Justin Haley took the checkered flag in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on July 7, 2019. Less than three years later, William Byron drove Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado to its inaugural NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series win on April 7, 2022, at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. The team’s most recent win came on May 30, 2025, when Rajah Caruth took the checkered flag in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

In 2026, Spire Motorsports will campaign the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s in the NASCAR Cup Series and the Nos. 7 and 77 Chevrolet Silverado RSTs in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Young’s Motorsports confirmed today that NASCAR Cup Series standout Carson Hocevar will pilot the team’s No. 42 Chevrolet in the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season opener, the United Rentals 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, on Saturday, February 14.

Hocevar, 23, will make a one-race appearance with the Mooresville, N.C.-based organization at the iconic 2.5-mile superspeedway, with Zeigler Automotive Group serving as the primary marketing partner of the No. 42 Chevrolet.

“Any time you get the opportunity to race at Daytona, it’s special,” said Hocevar. “I’m excited for the chance to race with Young’s Motorsports in the United Rentals 300.

“Superspeedway racing is always intense, and Daytona is a place where preparation and execution matter just as much as speed.

“I’m thankful to Zeigler Automotive Group for their support and looking forward to the challenge.”

The United Rentals 300 will mark Hocevar’s inaugural NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series start at the “World Center of Racing” and just his ninth career appearance at Daytona International Speedway, coming one day before he competes in his third Daytona 500.

A native of Portage, Michigan, Hocevar brings experience across NASCAR’s national touring divisions, including the Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year has established himself as one of the sport’s most versatile young competitors while continuing to compete full-time at NASCAR’s highest level.

Hocevar will perform triple duty during Speedweeks, also competing for Spire Motorsports in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Fresh from Florida 250 on Friday night, February 13, before driving the Spire Motorsports No. 77 Chevrolet in Sunday’s Great American Race.

Industry veteran Andrew Abbott will serve as crew chief for the No. 42 Chevrolet for the 120-lap contest on Saturday evening.

“Carson brings a lot of experience for a young driver, especially at the Cup Series level,” said Tyler Young.

“Daytona is a race where discipline, communication, and execution are critical, and having someone with his background and aggression in the car is an asset for our team. INDYCAR Announces Historic, Multiyear Commitment from Chevrolet, Honda

Manufacturer Charters To Accompany Boosted Investment Across NTT INDYCAR SERIES

INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026) – INDYCAR today announced a multiyear commitment from Chevrolet and Honda to continue as official Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of INDYCAR and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Each OEM agreement will commence in 2027 and run for multiple years, reflecting the upward trajectory of the sport and new investments in its growth.

The new commitment from Chevrolet and Honda represents a significant financial investment in North America’s premier open-wheel series. It is also an endorsement of the momentum and continued growth of the series. Both manufacturers will also be heavily involved in the development of the engine and competition rules to be implemented with the new NTT INDYCAR SERIES car, which is expected to begin competition in 2028.

“This is a monumental day for INDYCAR, fueled by a massive and historic commitment from two of our best and most trusted partners,” INDYCAR President J. Douglas Boles said. “Chevrolet and Honda have worked tirelessly with us over the last 12 months to get to this point, and both have made it very clear that they are fully committed to this sport and invested in continuing the positive momentum the series generated in 2025.”

“Chevrolet has enjoyed a long, successful relationship with INDYCAR as an engine manufacturer, and this extension paves the way for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES to continue to grow and for us to further maximize technology transfer from race to road,” General Motors President Mark Reuss said. “The addition of a charter allows Chevrolet to join with other stakeholders to continue to make the series even stronger. INDYCAR produces consistently exciting racing on road and street courses as well as ovals, and we look forward to building on our INDYCAR legacy and put on a great show for our loyal Chevrolet fans.”

“To our esteemed Honda fans, customers and associates, we are thrilled to announce our ongoing participation in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES,” Honda Racing Corporation USA President David Salters said. “With a deep respect for the history and competitive spirit of INDYCAR racing, we are proud to continue our involvement after more than 30 years. This long-standing commitment strengthens our ability to allow us to further develop our people and technology at the pinnacle of open-wheel racing in North America.

“The partnership between INDYCAR and FOX continues to grow, bringing outstanding race coverage and elevating the experience for fans everywhere. The future of INDYCAR looks incredibly bright, and we at Honda are honored to play a critical role in its continued success.”

This multiyear announcement extends Chevrolet’s current participation in the INDYCAR SERIES. Chevrolet is a nine-time champion since its return to the sport 14 seasons ago in 2012. Including the 1988-93 and 2002 titles, Chevrolet has won 16 total INDYCAR SERIES manufacturer championships.

Honda began INDYCAR SERIES competition in 1994 and has been a continuous and key fixture on INDYCAR grids as an engine supplier for over 30 years – including six seasons as the sole engine supplier. The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season marked its 11th manufacturers’ title in multiple manufacturer competition and the fifth in the last eight years.

In addition to commitments made in engine development, engine supply and promotion of the series, each manufacturer will be entitled to own a charter to be utilized beginning with the 2028 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.

“As charter entrants in 2028, Chevrolet and Honda now have a new and exciting opportunity to build on their incredible legacies across INDYCAR SERIES racing, while continuing their strong relationships with our current roster of teams and helping deliver an innovative and industry-leading new car in 2028,” Boles said.

The INDYCAR charter system was originally announced in September 2024. Charters were extended to teams based on full-time entries from the 2022-23 seasons, with a maximum of three awarded per team. NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams with three charters are not eligible to utilize a fourth charter via an OEM.

Complete details of the powertrain parameters to be utilized with the new 2.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine with hybrid technology and introduced with the 2028 NTT INDYCAR SERIES car will be announced at a later date.

The 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season begins Sunday, March 1 at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. Coverage of the race begins at noon ET on FOX, FOX Deportes, FOX One and the FOX Sports app. Audio coverage will be available via the INDYCAR Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 218 and the INDYCAR App powered by NTT DATA.

KEY PARTNERS CONTINUE SUPPORT OF ELITE MOTORSPORTS IN 2026

WYNNEWOOD, Okla. (Feb. 12, 2026) – As Elite Motorsports continues to solidify its standing as the largest professional team in the Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series, the organization has stayed dedicated to maintaining and building relationships with its longtime partners.

Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage, the very best in custom cars, trucks and crate engines, Melling Performance Parts, a top manufacturer of the newest cutting edge performance parts, CTech Manufacturing, a leader in premium aluminum carts cabinets and drawers, Outlaw Light Beer, the fastest growing domestic light beer in the U.S., and Competition Trailers, a manufacturer of custom specialty trailers, have renewed their partnerships with the team, continuing their role as significant contributors through the 2026 season.

“There’s been a lot of expansion at Elite Motorsports, we’re growing, it’s a good thing. The best part is that our already amazing partners are choosing to grow with us,” said Richard Freeman, owner and President of Elite Motorsports. “We have some of the best partners who happen to have some of the best people in this sport. JHG, Melling, CTech, they’re all either family businesses, or know how to treat their employees and partners like family, just like Elite. Having them onboard isn’t great just because they are quality brands with exceptional products, but because they get it and they want to be part of what we’re doing.”

Since 2022, Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage (JHG) has been a prominent supporter of Elite Motorsports. The partnership has blossomed to include primary placement on the Pro Stock rides of Erica Enders and Aaron Stanfield as well as being featured across their teammates’ rides. That primary placement and team support will continue in the 2026 season where JHG will also be featured on Tony Stewart’s Top Fuel ride. JHG also serves as a partial primary for the Tony Stewart Racing Nitro Funny Car team.

“We’re excited to continue our support of Elite Motorsports especially as they expand and grow. It’s been a good few years having them represent the JHG brand. They’ve always treated us like family, that’s the way Richard runs things. It’s an incredible organization with some of the best people. We’re looking forward to taking in what should be another very exciting season and seeing what the future brings.”

Melling Performance joined the Elite Motorsports’ family in 2017 supporting the winningest female in motorsports history, Erica Enders. Their support for Elite has grown to include primary placement not only on Enders’ ride but rising Pro Stock phenom Aaron Stanfield’s. As they enter 2026, they’ll be celebrating their 80th Anniversary with a special anniversary logo on the rear deck lid of Enders and Stanfield’s cars. Melling will continue to be featured across Elite’s Pro Stock entries and will have billing on the Top Fuel hot rod of Tony Stewart.

“The Melling team is thrilled to be back for another year of Pro Stock racing. We look forward to celebrating our 80th year of business with all the NHRA fans across the country and the entire Elite Motorsports team,” said Mark Melling, President and CEO of Melling Performance. “Richard Freeman runs a first-class operation, and we are happy to be a part of it and promote our brand with such a great group of people. It is an honor to be on board with Erica and Aaron for another year, and we plan to be on board for many years to come. The entire Melling team is behind our drivers as we support them on their quest to bring home a championship and a sixth professional championship for Melling.”

CTech, who has been part of the Elite Motorsports family since 2022, has gradually grown their support as the team has expanded. Heading into the 2026 season, CTech will continue to be featured across the stable of Pro Stock cars including six-time world champions Erica Enders and Jeg Coughlin Jr. but will now also be featured on the Top Fuel dragster of motorsports legend Tony Stewart. Beyond the race cars, CTech’s premium carts and cabinets will play a central role in Elite’s operational footprint, anchoring the team’s upgraded hospitality environment and continuing to elevate efficiency and presentation throughout the pit.

“Elite Motorsports’ expansion is an exciting step that reflects their ambition and drive to keep pushing forward. It’s the kind of bold move that defines who they are and why CTech is proud to stand with them,” said Michael Greenheck, President/CEO of CTech Manufacturing. “We’ve built our legacy supporting teams that demand the best, and we’re excited to continue that tradition as Elite enters this next chapter.”

Outlaw Light Beer will continue its partnership with Elite Motorsports through longtime Elite supporter, Mark Stockseth. Stockseth has known Freeman for over 20 years and officially started supporting the team in 2013. Outlaw’s mission is to provide high quality light beer at an affordable price. That means continuous improvement and brilliant performance in order to create a product to be proud of. They are committed to bringing the fun and easy-going spirit back to the light beer category.

“Our brand recognition is driven in large part by our partnerships with legacy brands such as Elite Motorsports. The expansion of Elite to include a Top Fuel team will only accelerate the success we have enjoyed together,” said Vic Wise, CMO of Outlaw. “Outlaw is a brand built for people who work hard and find inspiration in pursuing the American dream — the same kind of grit you see every time Elite hits the track. This partnership continues to be about celebrating that ‘Outlaw’ spirit with the fans. We’re ready to crack a few cold ones, cheer on some of the best in the business and keep this momentum rolling right alongside the Elite crew in 2026.”

Competition Trailers has stood with Elite Motorsports for a decade and a half, a partnership built on trust, performance, and shared values. With more than 70 years of combined experience, the team at Competition Trailers listens closely to each client’s needs and engineers the best possible trailer for every application — from display to sales to service. They take pride in custom‑building to exact specifications, ensuring every trailer reflects the precision, purpose, and quality their customers expect.

“Competition Trailers values long‑standing partnerships, and our relationship with Elite Motorsports for over 15 years stands as a prime example,” said Ken Evans, President of Competition Trailers. “We’re committed to supporting their ongoing growth and expansion, and we deeply appreciate the strong working relationship we’ve built with Richard. The future potential of this partnership is something we’re truly excited about.”

The 2026 75th Anniversary season of the Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series kicks off with the NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway March 6-8 in Gainesville, Florida.
