BRISCOE DELIVERS DOMINATING PERFORMANCE, WINS SECOND STRAIGHT SOUTHERN 500

Briscoe leads a record-breaking night for Toyota

DARLINGTON, S.C. (August 31, 2025) – Chase Briscoe led 309 of 367 laps and scored a dominating victory in the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on Sunday evening. It is Briscoe’s second win of the season, second straight in this race and 199th NASCAR Cup Series victory for Toyota.

It was a dominating race for Team Toyota as Toyota drivers finished in six of the top seven positions for the first time in our history – Briscoe, Tyler Reddick (second), Erik Jones (third), John Hunter Nemechek (fourth), Bubba Wallace (sixth) and Denny Hamlin (seventh). The fourth-place finish was also a career-best result for Nemechek.

With Joe Gibbs Racing’s Briscoe, 23XI Racing’s Reddick and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB’s Jones sweeping the podium finishers, it is the first time in Toyota’s history that they have placed three different organizations in the top three finishing positions. With Nemechek in fourth, it is the third top-four sweep in Toyota’s Cup Series history (2017 Watkins Glen, 2017 Bristol 2).

TOYOTA QUOTES

CHASE BRISCOE, No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry XSE, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 1st

How about that domination?

“There at the end, that was way harder than it needed to be. Man, just what an incredible Bass Pro Shops Toyota. As a fan, I have watched Martin (Truex Jr.) dominate a lot of races, and it was fun to finally be behind the wheel of it. It is so cool to win two Southern 500s in a row. This is my favorite race of the year because of the race fans. You come here and it is sold out. The atmosphere is unlike anything else. Great way to start our Playoffs and man, that was a lot of fun.”

TYLER REDDICK, No. 45 Pinnacle Toyota Camry XSE, 23XI Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

What more did you need?

“The one time we got ahead of him there, we were just a little too tight. He was able to get back by us. I think for our Pinnacle Financial Partners Camry, we were better than he was on long runs. He could fire off a whole lot better. I think that was the difference tonight. I could get close. Yeah, I know we had a long run there, but it just unfortunately seemed like the last run the balance wasn’t quite as good as it has been the rest of the night on the long run. All-in-all, a really solid night for points in the Playoffs. Really want to win here. It’s frustrating to finish second, going for it, like I did last spring, doing the wrong thing, ending our day and finishing 36th. I wish I could have been just a little bit closer. When I dove off in there, I was already sideways. I learned from last spring that that doesn’t work. Yeah, a good solid day, but hopefully one day we’ll win here at Darlington.”

ERIK JONES, No. 43 Dollar Tree Toyota Camry XSE, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB

Finishing Position: 3rd

What more did you need at the end there?

“Probably to come off in the lead leaving pit road. We were all kind of going the same speed. I felt like we were probably a little bit better than both of them. I couldn’t get the run. I thought I had the 45 (Tyler Reddick) there with maybe four or five to go. There was a little hole on the top. He squeezed up and filled it. Racing for the win. Yeah, it’s hard to be that close. Would have liked to have had another one. We were right there all day, good speed with the Dollar Tree Camry. We just need more of that. Hopefully we keep these cars rolling and get one soon.”

JOHN HUNTER NEMECHEK, No. 42 Pye Barker Fire & Safety Toyota Camry XSE, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB

Finishing Position: 4th

Are you happy with that finish?
“I wish we more laps. The more that I ran, the better that I was. I hated to see that caution there at the end, because I felt like we were in a really good spot, long run speed wise with the green flag cycle coming and everything else. Just not a lot of short run speed but we made the most of it. Proud of the effort from everyone at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. We continue to get better. It is pretty cool to have 42 and 43 (Erik Jones) to finish in third and fourth at the Southern 500. I know I’m proud of the drive for myself. I’m proud of the effort. I’m proud of Travis (Mack, crew chief), and everyone that has been putting a lot into our Pye Barker Toyotas and making them faster. It feels good to come home fourth. I think that is my career-best finish in the Cup Series. Hats off to Pye Barker, everyone that has supported me through my career. Thank you to Jimmie (co-owner, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB) and Toyota for taking a chance on me to kind of revamp my career and getting me back to the Cup Series.”

BUBBA WALLACE, No. 23 U.S. Air Force Toyota Camry XSE, 23XI Racing

Finishing Position: 6th

What was the finish like?

“I was doing my best to not over drive the corners the last couple of laps. I could see the 45 (Tyler Reddick) really challenging the 19 (Chase Briscoe), so all-in-all good day for our team. Great Playoff start. Just solid execution. We had a couple of mistakes on pit road. We had a couple mistakes overall, but we were able to rebound really well. Our U.S. Air Force Toyota Camry was solid. Hats off to Toyota – I let AJ (Allmendinger), old man, get in front of me – otherwise we would have had the top six.”

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 Sport Clips Haircuts Toyota Camry XSE, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 7th

What kind of factored in to you getting this result?

“It was just a bad pit stop. We went from being in the top-two or three there, to being the last car on the lead lap. At that point, not to be debby downer but I knew that our Southern 500 was over. Just way too difficult to pass here at Darlington, so at that point, shifted goals to try to figure out how to get back into the top-10 before the end of the day, and we accomplished that. Just having some poise. Being good on the long run, getting some good restarts and doing our job.”

He was charging back through the field and made it up to second when he made contact with Alex Clubb (No. 03 A. Clubb Lawncare Ford) and crashed in turn two. NASCAR CUP SERIES RACE RECAP

  • Chris Buescher was Ford’s top finisher in Sunday’s Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
  • Austin Cindric had the best result among Ford’s four playoff drivers in 12th place.
  • Ryan Blaney was 18th, Joey Logano 20th and Josh Berry 38th.
  • Two races remain in the Round of 16 before four drivers will be eliminated.

DARLINGTON, SC. | August 31, 2025 – Darlington Raceway is recognized as one of the toughest tracks on the NASCAR circuit and that proved to be the case for a number of teams as the Cup Series playoff season got underway with the Cook Out Southern 500.

Those issues included Ford’s four championship contenders as Austin Cindric, Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Josh Berry all struggled at times.

The start of the race proved to be an omen of what was to come as Berry got loose and hit the wall in turn two of the very first lap. He was forced to the garage, where his team took the entire first stage to make repairs. Berry eventually re-entered the race on lap 119, but finished 38th.

Ryan Blaney was the next one to encounter an issue when he got hit from behind on lap 209 and was sent skidding down the backstretch while running 13th. That damaged his splitter and forced him to restart 31st, but even though he recovered, a caution just as he was pitting sent him to the back to 25th with 48 laps to go. Blaney ended up 18th.

Austin Cindric didn’t encounter any major issues on the track and ended up Ford’s highest playoff finisher in 12th place. He got off to an especially strong start, scoring three points in the first stage after finishing eighth, but battled to maintain track position from that point on.

Defending series champion Joey Logano struggled with handling throughout the night and finished 20th .

Chris Buescher was Ford’s highest finisher on the night as he ran 10th.

With two races remaining in the first round, Blaney is Ford’s highest driver in the standings as he sits seventh, 22 points above the cut line. Cindric is ninth (+12) while Logano (-3) and Berry (-19) are currently 13th and 16th, respectively.

The second race in the Round of 16 for the Cup Series is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 7 at World Wide Technology Raceway. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on USA, MRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Josef Newgarden erases season goose egg at Nashville

LEBANON, Tenn. - AUGUST 31: Josef Newgarden, driver of the #2 Team Penske Chevrolet, drives during practice for the NTT IndyCar Series Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway on Aug. 31, 2025, in Lebanon, Tennessee. Photo: Simon Scoggins/SpeedwayMedia.com

LEBANON, Tenn. — Much like he did after winning the Indianapolis 500, Josef Newgarden hopped out of his car and celebrated with the race fans at his home track. After a nightmare season, he erased the goose egg on the 2025 season.

The driver of the No. 2 Team Penske Chevrolet took the lead, thanks to misfortune for his teammate, Scott McLaughlin, with just over 20 laps to go and held off series champion Alex Palou in the closing laps to win the Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway.

“Very special,” Newgarden said. “Never a bad time to show up and have a good day. I think the team really performed like you expect from Team Penske. I think we’ve had the same core that Team Penske’s always had throughout this whole year in a lot of ways. You saw it again today, just the men and women across the board.

“Really didn’t matter which car. There was a point midway through the race, I came on the radio, Look at Will, looked amazing, incredible. He could have won the race today. I think Scott could have won the race.

“That’s the cool thing about Team Penske. You walk into that building, it really doesn’t matter which car you’re looking at, I would be privileged to step in any one of them. I think they give you a shot to win the race.

“It’s cool to be part of this team. We’ve got great leadership and depth across the board. I think that’s what carried us through this weekend to bring in this result.”

It’s his 32nd career victory in 215 NTT INDYCAR SERIES starts and first of the 2025 season.

After cutting a tire early in the race and making an unscheduled stop, Palou rallied back to finish runner-up. McLaughlin hit the wall while leading with 22 laps to go, but out-dueled Kyffin Simpson in the final 11 laps to round out the podium.

“Amazing. Amazing season,” Palou said. “Amazing five seasons with the team. This season has been truly, truly special. Just felt like since day one the amazing work that everybody at CGR and Honda had done over the off-season was incredible, like starting the season winning in St. Pete, then Thermal, then I cannot remember. I remember it was a really good start. Then getting the Indy 500. Eight wins, then the championship.

“It’s been incredible. It’s been super, super fun. Yeah, I’m just lucky enough to drive that No. 10 car.”

“I had an absolute blast, man,” McLaughlin said. “That was so much fun. Restarts were intense. Yeah, it did string out a little bit, as it always does, mid to late stint. I think the exchanges and the restarts were phenomenal.

“Yeah, obviously bittersweet for me. Third is great. I’m glad I sort of held on to that at the end. I felt like I could have held off Josef there. He was controlling his lane. I just turned a little late, got caught. Nearly saved it. Once you’re sort of out there, it’s hard to get it back.

“Thankful I was able to straighten the wheel just before I hit the fence. The car was straight. I was able to push on, yeah.

“Very good end to our season. Great team win. But I’m pissed off at myself.”

Simpson and Conor Daly rounded out the top-five.

Kyle Kirkwood, Felix Rosenqvist, Santino Ferrucci, Callum Ilott and Alexander Rossi rounded out the top-10.

Josef Newgarden erases season goose egg at Nashville

Race summary

Pato O’Ward led the field to green at 2:44 p.m. ET. Caution flew on the first lap when Christian Rasmussen broke loose in Turn 2 and rear-ended the outside wall.

Back to green on Lap 9, Palou pulled to the outside of O’Ward. For the next six laps, they ran side-by-side for the entire length of the track. By Lap 17, Palou backed off for a lap, then pulled back alongside the following lap. Afterwards, he backed off to roughly three-tenths of a second behind O’Ward. Eventually, the field settled into a green flag rhythm. Palou made an unscheduled stop on Lap 52 for a flat tire. As luck would have it, it fell at the start of a cycle of green flag stops. O’Ward pitted from the lead on Lap 57. Scott Dixon pit from the lead on Lap 59. Will Power pit from the lead on Lap 60. Marcus Armstrong pit from the lead on Lap 61. Rinus VeeKay pit from the lead on Lap 63 and O’Ward cycled back to the lead.

Caution flew on Lap 83 when Louis Foster, running a lap down, turned second-place David Malukas in Turn 1 and put him in the outside wall. He was awake and alert, but taken by helicopter to a nearby trauma center for further testing. Foster was handed a drive-through penalty for blocking.

Back to green on Lap 101, caution flew on Lap 127 when race leader O’Ward suffered a right-front tire failure and slammed the wall in Turn 2. While race leader Power (who overshot his pit box) and the rest of the field pitted under the caution, Rossi stayed out to take the race lead.

Back to green on Lap 141, Newgarden went low into Turn 3 to take the lead from Rossi on Lap 147. Palou kicked off the final cycle of green flag stops with 44 laps to go. Newgarden pit from the lead with 41 laps to go. McLaughlin pit from the lead with 38 to go. Daly pit from the lead with 35 to go. Colton Herta pit from the lead with 34 to go and Palou cycled to the lead with 33 to go.

He didn’t hold the lead for long, however, as McLaughlin powered by him on the outside in Turn 2 to retake the lead with 26 to go. Newgarden took second from Palou with 25 to go. With 22 to go, McLaughlin veered up the track, got loose and hit the wall in Turn 2. Newgarden overtook him for the lead before caution flew.

Back to green with 11 to go, Newgarden held off Palou in the closing laps to win the race.

What else happened

Conor Daly made a power move on the outside line on Lap 142 to take fifth from Palou.

Nuts and bolts

The race lasted one hour, 54 minutes and 50 seconds, at an average speed of 156.342 mph. There were 20 lead changes among 12 different drivers and four cautions for 46 laps.

That concludes the 2025 NTT INDYCAR Series season. It returns to action on March 1, 2026, on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida.

AUSTIN CINDRIC, No. 2 Discount Tire Ford Mustang Dark Horse – “We had a decent start to the evening, but got behind a little bit in stage two. We had a bad stop and kind of got ping ponged around on a few of the restarts. Brian and the guys made some good adjustments, called great strategy throughout the whole race and had the car rolling pretty well at the end. It’s a solid finish. We were able to get some stage points and obviously others had a lot of issues, so I’m proud of the effort but it’s still nothing to make you feel safe. You’ve still got to go execute like this for two more races. It’s easier said than done.” THOUGHTS ON GOING TO GATEWAY NEXT WEEK, WHERE YOU ARE THE DEFENDING WINNER. “We’re hoping to have a bit more contending speed next week. I thought we were super solid and properly executed the finish today, but we’re gonna keep needing to get more if we want to keep advancing forward.”

RYAN BLANEY, No. 12 Menards/Dutch Boy Ford Mustang Dark Horse – “There were multiple instances, one on pit road. We had to start in the back and then getting spun off turn four killed the splitter, and then we came from the back to 19th and then the caution came out as soon as we got to pit road and sent us all the way back again. Just about everything that could go wrong tonight went wrong. At least we recovered to where we did, which is OK I guess. It just wasn’t a smooth night.” IT SEEMS EVERY YEAR THIS FIRST PLAYOFF RACE CREATES ISSUES FOR THE PLAYOFF CONTENDERS. ANYTHING YOU CAN POINT TO? “I have no idea. Everything that happened to us tonight was somebody else’s fault, so I don’t know. Maybe they’ve got to figure it out a little better.”

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Mustang Dark Horse – “We just had no grip. There isn’t much to say outside of that. It wasn’t good enough. This has been a good track for us in the past, but I don’t know. Some of our cars were decent at times, but not like we have been here. It’s a bit of a head scratcher to try to understand. I don’t know where we are in points, but it’s obviously not the day we wanted. We just did a good job of not making a bad day worse.” HOW WAS SURPRISING WAS IT TO HAVE THAT RESULT? “Yeah, it was surprising. I thought we would be able to run in the top 10, just because off of history and because we’ve been there in the past, but when everyone got better we didn’t.”

JOSH BERRY, No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Mustang Dark Horse – WHAT HAPPENED ON LAP ONE? “It’s kind of hard to even really know, but it the car bottomed out five or six times and just wrecked. It was definitely unexpected. We didn’t really fight that too bad in practice. I saw a replay of it when I was sitting in the car while they were fixing it from the 1, and you could tell that it bottomed out four or five times and you can’t save them when they’re like that.” HOW DESPERATE DO YOU FEEL GOING INTO GATEWAY AND BRISTOL? “It’s just disappointing. It looked like a lot of people had a bad night, which we know how this goes. We just need to avoid a bad night. I obviously haven’t seen it yet, but I feel like we’re still within striking distance that if we just go have two good weeks, we’ll at least be in the mix once we get to Bristol.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 6 BuildSubmarines.com Ford Mustang Dark Horse – “We had really good long run speed. Our short run was just kind of eh. We needed all 500 miles today, that’s for sure. We passed some cars there towards the end and got ourselves a solid finish, but we want to be a little better.”

Understanding the North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Settlement Calculator

When a workplace injury occurs, the aftermath can be physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Injured employees are often unsure about what compensation they’re entitled to, how long benefits will last, and whether they are being offered a fair settlement. This is where tools like the North Carolina workers compensation settlement calculator become invaluable.

For workers and their families, such a calculator provides an estimate of what a claim might be worth, helping them plan for recovery, medical expenses, and long-term financial needs. But while it can be a useful starting point, understanding how it works and its limitations is essential.

What Is a Workers’ Compensation Settlement Calculator?

A settlement calculator is a tool that estimates the value of a workers’ compensation claim. In North Carolina, the calculator takes into account several factors, including:

  • Medical expenses (current and future)
  • Lost wages due to time away from work
  • Temporary or permanent disability ratings
  • Future earning capacity if the worker cannot return to their previous job
  • Vocational rehabilitation costs if retraining is needed

The calculator is not a guarantee of what will be awarded but serves as a guideline for workers to better understand the possible range of their settlement.

Why Settlement Calculators Are Important

Workplace injuries can lead to unexpected expenses. Without an estimate, many workers may accept an initial offer from the insurance company that undervalues their claim. A North Carolina workers’ compensation settlement calculator helps workers:

  1. Evaluate their case realistically – By comparing estimates with what insurers offer.
  2. Plan financially – For medical care, lost income, and family expenses.
  3. Understand rights under state law – So they don’t leave money on the table.
  4. Negotiate from a stronger position – Having a baseline figure makes discussions more balanced.

Factors That Influence a Settlement in North Carolina

Unlike personal injury lawsuits, workers’ compensation claims do not allow damages for pain and suffering. Instead, settlements are based on specific categories defined by law.

1. Medical Expenses

All reasonable medical costs related to the workplace injury should be covered, including surgery, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.

2. Lost Wages

Workers typically receive two-thirds of their average weekly wage, subject to maximum limits set by the state.

3. Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) Ratings

Doctors assign a disability rating that impacts the settlement calculation. For example, losing partial function of a hand or leg will be rated and compensated according to state guidelines.

4. Future Earning Capacity

If the injury prevents a worker from returning to their old job, the calculator accounts for retraining or reduced wages in a new role.

5. Age and Work Experience

Younger workers may receive higher settlements if the injury affects their long-term ability to earn a living.

How the Calculator Works in Practice

Imagine a Wilmington warehouse worker who suffers a severe back injury while lifting heavy equipment. The injury requires surgery, six months off work, and ongoing physical therapy.

  • Medical bills: $75,000
  • Lost wages: $600 per week for 26 weeks = $15,600
  • Permanent disability rating: 20% impairment of the spine
  • Future medical costs: $30,000

The settlement calculator would combine these figures with North Carolina’s statutory guidelines to provide an estimate. The worker could then compare this with the insurer’s offer to determine if negotiation or legal intervention is necessary.

Limitations of Settlement Calculators

While helpful, calculators should be seen as starting points—not definitive answers. Key limitations include:

  • Individual circumstances vary – Every injury, treatment, and recovery timeline is unique.
  • Insurer negotiations matter – Final settlements often depend on how effectively a lawyer negotiates.
  • Future costs can be underestimated – Medical care or complications may last longer than anticipated.
  • State-specific rules – Each state has different laws, and only a North Carolina-specific calculator gives accurate estimates for local cases.

The Role of a Workers’ Compensation Lawyer

While the calculator provides a ballpark figure, an experienced attorney ensures that workers receive the full benefits they are entitled to. A lawyer can:

  • Review the calculator estimate and compare it with actual case value.
  • Gather medical records and expert testimony to support claims.
  • Challenge unfair disability ratings.
  • Negotiate settlements that consider both current and future needs.
  • Represent workers if disputes escalate to the North Carolina Industrial Commission.

For example, a worker who accepts the insurer’s first offer without legal advice might receive far less than what the calculator estimated. With a lawyer’s help, they may secure a settlement that fully covers future treatment and income loss.

Why Local Knowledge Matters

Having a lawyer who understands North Carolina’s workers’ comp system provides a distinct advantage. Local attorneys are familiar with:

  • The North Carolina Industrial Commission’s procedures
  • Common insurer tactics in the state
  • Regional medical providers and vocational experts
  • State-specific laws that affect disability ratings and wage replacement

This local expertise ensures that workers are not only guided by a calculator but also backed by real-world knowledge of how claims play out in Wilmington, Raleigh, and across the state.

Common Mistakes Workers Make

Many injured employees lose out on benefits by making avoidable mistakes:

  1. Not reporting the injury on time – North Carolina requires notice within 30 days.
  2. Relying solely on the calculator – Without legal guidance, estimates may be misleading.
  3. Returning to work too soon – Hurting their claim and risking further injury.
  4. Failing to appeal denials – Accepting an insurer’s rejection without challenging it.

Avoiding these mistakes can make a significant difference in the final settlement outcome.

Final Thoughts

The North Carolina workers’ compensation settlement calculator is a powerful tool for injured employees seeking clarity on what their claim may be worth. It helps workers understand the components of a settlement, plan their finances, and negotiate with insurers more effectively.

However, it should never replace professional legal guidance. An experienced workers’ compensation lawyer can evaluate the specifics of a case, challenge unfair offers, and secure a settlement that reflects both immediate and long-term needs.

For North Carolina workers facing injuries, combining the calculator with trusted legal representation is the best way to ensure fair compensation and financial security for the future.

Cadillac primed to defend home turf

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA Hypercar entries aim to carry momentum into COTA

DETROIT (Sept. 1, 2025) – What would be more satisfying than a Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA victory at its home race? An encore 1-2 finish, of course.

Following the dominating performance in the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign in São Paulo, Brazil, the twin Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.Rs head to Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Central Texas with intentions of lassoing a third consecutive pole and repeating the dual podium celebration.

Incentives abound entering the Lone Star Le Mans this weekend at the 5.513 km (3.426-mile), 20-turn circuit that’s a favorite amongst drivers and always delivers entertaining racing for spectators. With three events remaining, the six-hour race could be another springboard:

  • Cadillac is a program-high second in the Manufacturers’ Championship, and has sliced the deficit to Ferrari from 107 to 55 points the past two races in moving up from fifth.
  • The No. 12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R roster of Alex Lynn, Norman Nato and Will Stevens is third in the Drivers’ Championship after their Brazil victory from pole – a scant 25 points behind second place and 37 points out of the top spot.
  • The No. 12 entry, which is the only Hypercar to compete in Hyperpole in every race (Hyperpole2 at Le Mans) and has qualified in the top five in four of the five races (with poles at Le Mans and São Paulo), will aim to extend the streak. CHART
  • The No. 12 hybrid racecar has scored points in every race, including fifth, fourth and first the past three outings.
  • The No. 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R, which recorded the runner-up finish in Brazil with Earl Bamber, Sebastien Bourdais and Jenson Button behind the wheel, has advanced to Hyperpole in four of the five races and qualified second at Le Mans and São Paulo. They’ll look to move to the top step and add to the championship points total.

“Obviously, the team is on a complete high from the 1-2 in Brazil, so we’re hoping for more good things,” said Bamber, who has two victories at COTA (IMSA GTLM class in 2016 and WEC LMP1 in 2017). “And I think we’ve just got to keep pestering that top five with both cars and then chipping away. Closing that gap is going to be tough. But if we’re always in the top five and we’re always there, we know we’re going to be closing in points and scoring big points.”

Last year, in the WEC’s return to the circuit for the first time since 2020 when Nato co-drove to the overall victory, Cadillac Racing’s lone Hypercar entry driven by Bamber and Lynn qualified third and finished a season-high fourth.

Close-ups at COTA

Every turn, pass and pit stop. Watch the six-hour race on the Circuit of The Americas course at noon ET Sunday via Nos. 12 and 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R in-car cameras HERE.

What they’re saying

No. 12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R

Alex Lynn: “Not only is the city amazing, the circuit is one of my personal favorites. Being the home race for Cadilac, we want to put on a good show and show everyone what our car can do. The event is one of the highlights of the year. It’s an exceptionally fun circuit to drive, like a rollercoaster with the undulations. A lot of short corners, a lot of fast corners. It really has a big mix. And obviously it’s very hot when we go there.”

Norman Nato: “I’m excited as a Cadillac driver to race in America, especially at COTA. Such a nice track that’s super fast and sector 1 is challenging a bit with the turns. The Austin area is one of my favorite places to go every year. It’s fun, good food and the people are very supportive of the racing. Racing in America for the first time as a Cadillac driver is good pressure to give our best and even better because it’s our home race. We obviously want to stand on the podium and cheer with our American fans.”

Will Stevens: “Heading to COTA, I think it’s going to be a very special race. There in Texas, the atmosphere around the track and the feeling around the town is very cool with a lot of passionate fans for us as a brand. For us drivers, it’s a circuit that we absolutely love driving. The nature of the track, we have just about every type of corner that we would want. The high speed first section, we know that’s going to be a strong point to our Cadillac V-Series.R car and we know off last year’s performance the car was also working very well there. I think we have a great chance at scoring some really good points and having a great race.”

No. 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R

Earl Bamber: “I think COTA really suits the Cadillac, suits the nature of our car with quite a lot of high-speed corners. It has been a really good circuit for us. It was our best result last year. So, we’re looking forward to coming back. Obviously, the team is on a complete high from the 1-2 in Brazil, so we’re hoping for more good things. And I think we’ve just got to keep pestering that top five with both cars and then chipping away. I think the main goal for Cadillac and JOTA is to get a good ranking in the Constructors’ Championship. Second right now. It would be great to close the gap. Closing that gap is going to be tough. But if we’re always in the top five and we’re always there, we know we’re going to be closing in points and scoring big points. I think it’s super important to be in America. It’s really important for us with COTA being our home race. I think it’s such an emerging market for the World Endurance Championship, and I think COTA is a fitting place to go — just the whole atmosphere there. We get a great turnout of Cadillac fans. It was great that the Cadillac V-Club came out last year for our home race. So, that whole atmosphere brings a lot to the race weekend.”

Sebastien Bourdais: “COTA is a big challenge for everybody, a track with a variety of slow speed corners, medium sped corners, pretty high-speed corners and lots of elevation, so if you add the heat and humidity and enthusiastic crowd it’s quite an event. The whole Cadillac group is looking forward to that, and with the JOTA team we have specific goals for Texas. The U.S. is home and I want to put the 38 at the top and we know we have a good car for this track so we’re looking forward to bringing the Cadillac V-Series.R to Texas and putting it at the front.”

Jenson Button: “I enjoy racing at COTA. It is a circuit that has a bit of everything to challenge the driver and team over a six-hour race, and I think it will suit our Cadillac V-Series.R. I also like the Austin area and the fans are very supportive. Being the home race for Cadillac, we’ll have a dedicated cheering section. After the 1-2 finish in Brazil, the team is looking to carry that momentum to the U.S. and deliver another victory for Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA.”

Unlock Your Vehicle’s Full Potential with ECU Remapping

An ECU remapping service can completely transform the way a vehicle performs. Whether the goal is to achieve greater power, improved fuel economy, or a balance of both, this process allows drivers to unlock performance that was previously out of reach. Backed by skilled technicians who understand the complexities of engine tuning, remapping is carried out with precision and care, ensuring every detail is optimized for results. Choosing ECU Remapping Hampshire gives drivers confidence that their car is in expert hands, with software that is constantly updated to provide maximum reliability and safety. The end result is more than just enhanced power, it is a driving experience that feels smoother, more responsive, and perfectly matched to individual needs.

Understanding ECU Remapping

Every modern car is equipped with an Engine Control Unit, often referred to as the ECU. This small but powerful computer manages how the engine runs, controlling elements such as fuel injection, ignition timing, and turbo boost pressure. Manufacturers program the ECU with default settings that suit a wide variety of conditions, fuel qualities, and legal requirements across global markets.

While these factory settings are designed to be universal, they often leave untapped performance hidden within the engine. ECU remapping unlocks this potential by carefully adjusting the software to suit a driver’s specific goals. Rather than accepting one-size-fits-all settings, the vehicle receives a personalized tune that maximizes efficiency and performance.

The Performance Advantage

For many drivers, the most noticeable improvement after remapping is the increase in power. More horsepower and torque mean stronger acceleration, smoother overtaking, and greater confidence on the road. Everyday driving feels more enjoyable, whether cruising on the motorway or navigating city streets.

The benefits are not limited to sheer speed. A well-calibrated remap often delivers a smoother power curve, meaning the vehicle responds more predictably and consistently across different speeds. The result is a driving experience that feels more refined and easier to control.

Improved Fuel Economy

Not every driver is looking for more power alone. For those who cover long distances or simply want to save money at the pump, ECU remapping can also improve fuel efficiency. By optimizing how fuel is delivered and burned, the engine operates more effectively, often achieving more miles per gallon without sacrificing performance.

The combination of efficiency and reduced fuel consumption makes remapping a smart investment. Over time, the savings on fuel can offset the initial cost of the service, making it a practical choice for budget-conscious drivers.

The Importance of Professional Expertise

ECU remapping is not a task for amateurs. While there are generic tuning files available online, these carry risks and rarely deliver reliable results. A poorly executed remap can harm the engine, reduce lifespan, or even cause breakdowns. This is why professional expertise is essential.

Experienced technicians understand not only the technical aspects of the software but also how to tailor adjustments to individual vehicles. They know how to balance performance with reliability, ensuring the changes remain safe for daily driving. Using high-quality equipment and regularly updated software ensures that the remapping process is precise, secure, and effective.

Tailored to Your Driving Needs

Every driver has different expectations from their vehicle. Some want maximum performance for spirited driving, while others prioritize efficiency for long commutes. The beauty of ECU remapping lies in its flexibility. The service can be customized to align with what matters most to the owner.

For example, a family car might benefit from a blend of improved torque and fuel efficiency, while a sports car owner may prefer enhanced throttle response and power delivery. This tailored approach ensures that each vehicle feels more in tune with its purpose, enhancing satisfaction on the road.

Reliability and Safety Considerations

One common concern among drivers is whether remapping could damage the engine. When carried out by trained professionals using trusted software, the process is completely safe. The adjustments are made within the tolerance levels of the vehicle, meaning the engine is never pushed beyond its capabilities.

In fact, many drivers find that their vehicle becomes more reliable after a proper remap, as the improved efficiency reduces unnecessary strain. Regular updates to the remapping software also ensure compatibility with the latest vehicle models and safety standards.

The Technology Behind the Service

The success of ECU remapping relies heavily on the quality of the software used. Professional providers invest in reliable, regularly updated programs that adapt to changes in engine design and fuel standards. These updates ensure that every adjustment remains effective and secure, even as vehicles become increasingly advanced.

Paired with diagnostic tools, this software allows technicians to monitor the engine in real time, checking that all parameters remain stable during and after the remap. The combination of expertise and advanced technology is what sets professional services apart from do-it-yourself alternatives.

Benefits Beyond the Engine

While performance and efficiency are the most obvious improvements, ECU remapping offers additional advantages that enhance the overall driving experience. A smoother throttle response makes driving feel more natural, while reduced turbo lag ensures the vehicle reacts faster when needed.

Towing vehicles often benefit significantly as well. With more torque available, pulling heavy loads becomes easier and less stressful on the engine. For drivers who use their vehicles for work or long journeys, these improvements can make a noticeable difference in comfort and convenience.

Comparing Stock vs Remapped Driving

Driving a stock vehicle often feels adequate but unremarkable. The engine performs well enough for most conditions, but it may lack the responsiveness or efficiency that drivers desire. After a remap, the contrast is clear. Acceleration feels sharper, overtakes require less effort, and the overall drive is more engaging.

It is not just about raw numbers on a performance chart, it is about how the car feels under everyday conditions. A remapped engine delivers a more enjoyable driving experience, making even routine trips more satisfying.

Long-Term Value

For those considering whether remapping is worth the cost, the long-term value is clear. Better fuel economy reduces running costs, while enhanced performance increases driving enjoyment. The process can even extend the practical lifespan of a vehicle by ensuring it runs more efficiently.

In some cases, a remapped vehicle may also hold its value better when it comes time to sell, as buyers appreciate the improved performance and efficiency. As with any upgrade, the key is to ensure it is done professionally, with documentation and support to prove the quality of the service.

Choosing the Right Service Provider

Not all remapping services are equal, so selecting the right provider is essential. Look for a team with a strong reputation, positive customer reviews, and proven experience in the field. Transparency is another important factor, as reputable providers explain the process clearly and set realistic expectations about the results.

A trusted provider offers more than a quick service, they provide ongoing support, ensuring the vehicle continues to perform at its best long after the remap. This level of care is what makes the investment worthwhile.

Final Thoughts

Vehicles today are more advanced than ever, yet many leave the factory with untapped potential hidden in the engine. ECU remapping provides a way to unlock that potential, delivering improvements in performance, efficiency, and overall driving satisfaction.

Whether the goal is sharper acceleration, better fuel economy, or a balance of both, professional remapping offers tailored results that suit each driver’s needs. With the right team and reliable software, the process is safe, effective, and transformative.

In the end, it is not only about driving faster or saving fuel, it is about creating a vehicle that feels more responsive, enjoyable, and aligned with the lifestyle of its owner. That is the true value of ECU remapping, and why more drivers are choosing it as a smart upgrade for their cars.

They Took Everything Wrong With Classic Cars – and Built the One That Got It Right

Let’s be honest, as much as we admire them, classic cars have always come with baggage. Beautiful baggage, yes, chrome curves and lines that stop you in your tracks. But anyone who has coaxed an old carburetor to life on a damp morning or watched the temperature needle creep upward in traffic knows the truth.

They’re like vinyl records: warm and soulful, but prone to skipping. Overheating, rust, unpredictable wiring, and shaky panel gaps were part of the deal. For decades, that was simply the price of admission for owning a “real” classic.

The Turning Point

In recent years, a different breed of builders has stepped in — people who treat those flaws not as quirks but as engineering challenges. They don’t just restore; they reimagine. And they do it with the precision of a pit crew chasing reliability under pressure.

This is the ideology of the new vintage car movement. Builders approach the icons of the ‘70s and ‘80s not as untouchable relics, but as inspiration. They integrate the soul of vintage cars into modern vehicles with crash protection, bulletproof systems, airbags, and deliver classic car performance that rivals showroom machinery today.

Beyond the Facelift

Anyone can bolt in a bigger engine. The difference here is in the complete package. Ride comfort, braking performance, suspension geometry, sound insulation — every detail is calibrated. The goal isn’t a hot rod or a replica. It’s a machine engineered as a powerful vehicle with timeless style, capable of surviving the Monday commute as well as the Saturday cruise.

And here’s the magic: the hands still feel the weight of the wheel, the leather still carries its scent, and the stance still turns heads. But underneath, you get four-wheel disc brakes, a crash-tested structure, and an air conditioning system that won’t quit in summer traffic. This isn’t restoration. It’s reinvention.

A Daily Driver in Disguise

The biggest complaint about old classics? They’re “weekend cars.” Good for coffee runs, unreliable for cross-country miles. That rule is gone. These builds can handle a twisting back road at dawn and inch through city traffic by dusk without complaint. No apologies. No compromises.

The Emotional Equation

Driving one feels like stepping back into the golden age — except everything works. It’s nostalgia without the breakdowns, classic car performance without the constant maintenance logbook. It’s a time machine you can trust to fire up every morning, a throwback refined for today’s world.

The Future of the Past

As the auto industry charges toward EVs and autonomy, there’s a parallel hunger for the mechanical, the analog, the visceral. That’s what makes the Modern Classic movement so relevant. These performance-driven builds bridge past and present: honoring classic artistry while delivering the reliability and safety of modern engineering.

In the end, they’ve achieved what the original manufacturers couldn’t, taking every compromise of the classic era and turning it into an opportunity to get it right. The result is not just something that reminds us of history, but something ready for the road ahead.

For drivers who see cars as more than transport, this is the connection we’ve been waiting for. Machines that make you want to keep driving long after the checkered flag drops.

Loans Like Speedy Cash: Why RadCred Is the Smarter Choice in 2025 For Cash Advance Loans

When cash emergencies hit, borrowers naturally turn to familiar names like loans like Speedy Cash for quick relief. However, RadCred’s innovative AI loan-matching platform represents a significant evolution beyond traditional payday lenders. Unlike conventional lenders that trap borrowers in cycles of debt, RadCred addresses the growing demand for no credit check loans and bad credit loans guaranteed approval through transparent, technology-driven solutions.

Many borrowers now seek safer alternatives to Speedy Cash payday loans because traditional payday lending often leads to financial traps with hidden fees and predatory practices. Our comprehensive RadCred review consistently shows how AI-powered matching provides borrowers with better loan options and payday loans online that prioritize borrower protection over profit maximization.

What Is Speedy Cash?

Speedy Cash operates as a traditional payday lending company offering short-term cash advances across multiple states since 1997. The company provides payday loans, installment loans, and title loans with amounts ranging from $50 to $3,000 depending on state regulations.

Speedy Cash markets itself as a quick solution for emergency expenses, offering same-day funding through debit cards or direct deposit. However, their lending model follows the conventional payday loan structure with full repayment typically due on the borrower’s next payday, usually within two weeks. The company operates both physical storefronts and online platforms, allowing borrowers to apply in-store, online, or over the phone.

Why Borrowers Search for Loans Like Speedy Cash?

Traditional payday lenders like Speedy Cash often burden borrowers with extremely high APRs ranging from 391% to 521%, creating significant financial stress. These astronomical rates mean a typical $375 loan costs borrowers between $520 to repay, far exceeding the original borrowed amount.

Hidden rollover fees compound the problem when borrowers cannot repay on time, leading to debt cycles that trap vulnerable consumers. The short repayment cycles of two weeks create unrealistic expectations for most borrowers’ cash flow patterns. Many borrowers want transparent payday loans and instant approval bad credit loans that don’t exploit their financial emergencies.

Smart consumers now seek Speedy Cash alternatives that offer payday loans for bad credit without predatory terms or excessive fees. They want fast cash loans that provide genuine financial relief rather than additional burden, which explains the growing popularity of AI-driven platforms that prioritize borrower welfare over profit maximization.

RadCred: The Best Alternative to Speedy Cash

RadCred’s AI-driven loan matching technology fundamentally transforms how borrowers access emergency funding by evaluating over 100 data points beyond traditional credit scores. The platform analyzes income stability, banking patterns, debt-to-income ratios, and realistic repayment ability to create comprehensive borrower profiles.

Unlike traditional lenders, RadCred exclusively uses soft credit checks during prequalification, ensuring borrowers can explore loan options without damaging their FICO scores. This approach protects vulnerable borrowers while still providing accurate loan matching based on their actual financial capacity.

The platform offers same-day and weekend funding options through its network of licensed lenders, ensuring borrowers can access emergency funds outside traditional banking hours. All loan terms, APRs, origination fees, and repayment structures are displayed transparently upfront, eliminating the hidden costs that plague traditional payday lending.

RadCred review data consistently shows loan amounts ranging from $200 to $35,000 based on individual qualifications, providing significantly more flexibility than typical payday lenders. This comprehensive approach makes RadCred a superior choice for no credit check loans USA and RadCred payday loans that actually serve borrowers’ needs.

Factors To Consider To Find the Right Personal Loan

Before choosing any loan option, borrowers should carefully evaluate several critical factors that directly impact their financial well-being.

  • Interest rates and APRs represent the true cost of borrowing, with traditional payday loans averaging 391-521% APR compared to personal loans averaging 14-35%.
  • Repayment terms significantly affect affordability, as longer terms reduce monthly payment burden but may increase total interest paid over time. Borrowers should assess their actual monthly cash flow to determine realistic repayment capabilities rather than accepting unrealistic two-week cycles.
  • Fee structures deserve careful scrutiny, including origination fees, late payment penalties, and potential rollover charges that can dramatically increase total loan costs. Transparent lenders display all fees upfront, while predatory lenders often hide these costs until after approval.
  • Lender licensing and regulatory compliance protect borrowers from predatory practices, making it essential to verify that lenders operate legally within your state’s consumer protection framework. The lender’s reputation, customer service quality, and complaint resolution processes also indicate whether they prioritize borrower satisfaction or profit extraction.
  • Finally, consider the impact on your credit score, as some lenders only perform soft pulls during prequalification while others immediately conduct hard inquiries that can lower your credit rating.

How RadCred Works for No Credit Check Loans?

RadCred’s streamlined online application process takes just minutes to complete, allowing borrowers to apply anytime through any device. The AI system immediately conducts soft credit pulls that protect FICO scores while gathering essential financial data for accurate lender matching.

Within minutes, borrowers receive instant lender matches based on their specific profile rather than generic offers. The platform displays multiple loan options simultaneously, allowing transparent comparisons of APRs, loan terms, origination fees, and repayment structures before making any commitments.

This comprehensive comparison process helps borrowers evaluate lender reputation alongside financial terms, ensuring they choose partners committed to fair lending practices. Once borrowers select their preferred option, same-day funding becomes available through direct deposit to existing bank accounts.

The entire process for how to apply for no credit check loans eliminates the guesswork and multiple applications typically required when seeking emergency financing. RadCred loans online and same day payday loans become accessible without the stress and uncertainty that characterizes traditional payday lending.

Why RadCred Is Safer Than Traditional No Credit Check Lenders?

Traditional no credit check lenders frequently employ hidden fee structures, rollover traps, and rigid repayment terms that exploit borrowers during financial crises. Many operate without appropriate state licensing or consumer protections, leaving borrowers vulnerable to predatory practices and inadequate recourse options.

RadCred’s AI-powered matching platform operates with complete transparency, presenting all costs and terms upfront while exclusively connecting borrowers with licensed, compliant lending partners. The platform enforces rigorous due diligence standards for all network lenders, ensuring only qualified, reputable institutions participate.

RadCred vs Speedy Cash comparisons consistently favor RadCred’s approach because it eliminates the necessity for physical store visits and high-pressure sales tactics. Borrowers can compare multiple offers simultaneously in a low-pressure environment that prioritizes informed decision-making.

Data security represents another crucial advantage, with RadCred maintaining SOC 2-level compliance that provides bank-grade encryption for sensitive personal and financial information. This stands in stark contrast to traditional lenders who may lack adequate cybersecurity measures. These comprehensive protections make RadCred the clear choice for safe payday loans online and transparent loan options that truly serve borrower interests.

Benefits of Choosing RadCred Over Speedy Cash

These RadCred benefits make it the superior choice for instant payday loans online and bad credit personal loans that prioritize borrower welfare over profit extraction.

  • Instant approval-style prequalification through AI matching technology connects borrowers with appropriate lenders within minutes of application submission.
  • Loan amounts from $200–$35,000 based on borrower qualifications and lender requirements, catering to various financial needs beyond typical payday loan limits.
