Six Camry drivers recorded top-10 finishes in Sunday afternoon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Delaware's Dover International Speedway. Mark Martin (third) was the first Toyota driver to the finish line in the 400-lap NSCS race at the Delaware concrete oval, followed by Martin Truex Jr. (sixth), Kyle Busch (seventh), Denny Hamlin (eighth), Clint Bowyer (ninth) and Joey Logano (10th). Busch led the field four times for 302 laps before he was forced to pit late in the race for fuel, and Hamlin led the field three times for 39 laps.
Carl Edwards on racing at Talladega Superspeedway: “This package seems to make it a little harder to bunch up and partner up. It will keep us, I think, in a big group. I am torn on that. It is worse because you have a better chance of being involved in somebody else’s wreck but it is more fun and I guess fun is why we do this anyway. I think it is going to be as good as Talladega can be. I haven’t won a restrictor-plate race in the Cup series yet so this would be a great place to do it.”
