Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 1 OneMain Financial Ford Mustang, returns to his home track this weekend looking for his first win in 2015. Sadler spoke about coming home, the season to date and more with members of the media Friday afternoon at Richmond International Raceway.

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - How does it feel to come to Richmond after a win? "Yeah, it was good to get that win, obviously. It's been a long time, so that was I think great for everybody at JGR (Joe Gibbs Racing) and everybody on our team."

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 TARGET CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media at Richmond International Raceway and discussed his outlook for this weekend at Richmond, the tire test he participated in a few weeks ago, getting his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win and many other topics.

I am a blessed man. I have a multitude of wants, but I already have all those things I truly need. I just wish that when we pray for a miracle, the odds of realizing it were not as astronomically against its success.

It sounds simple. If you want to win a race, the best place to begin is in front. But in reality, starting from the pole doesn’t necessarily translate into winning the race…unless you’re racing at Richmond International Raceway. The statistics below tell the story.

The ByrnesStrong Poll, formerly known as The Century Poll but renamed in honor of Steve Byrnes who just lost his battle to cancer, focused this month on who of the twenty NASCAR Hall of Fame nominees would be voted in for induction in the next class.

Larson has two NSCS starts at RIR, both of which came during last season’s rookie campaign. Larson started on the pole for last season’s spring race at RIR after qualifying was canceled due to rain and starting order was set by practice speeds. In his two races, Larson has an average start of 4.5 and has completed every race lap on the way to an average finish of 13.5.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to its second consecutive short track this weekend, Richmond International Raceway and the Toyota Owners 400. The .75-mile, D-shaped oval is one of Clint Bowyer’s best and logically, one of his favorite tracks.
