As Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race was winding down at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Ryan Newman was forced to perform a delicate balancing act in his No. 39 U.S. Army Chevrolet.

Denny Hamlin (third) was the highest finishing Toyota driver in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Ryan Newman was truly "Rocketman" behind the wheel of his No. 39 U.S. Army Chevrolet today at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He started on the pole, led a race-high 119 out of 301 laps.

It was a battle at the end trying to decide if we needed to come in and top off (fuel), put fresh tires on it or defend our track position."

Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 39 U.S. Army Chevrolet, went from ‘Rocket Man’, qualifying on the pole for the start of the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 to ‘Magic Man’, scoring his first win of the season at the Magic Mile.

The race at New Hampshire would prove to be yet another shake up in the series points standings as the leader coming in would take a huge hit in the points dropping four spots.

A total of 17 Team Chevy drivers will start the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, round 19 of the 2011 season
