Kyle Busch won Saturday night's inaugural NSCS race at Kentucky Speedway -- his second win of the race weekend (NCWTS on Thurs., July 7).

Five-time defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS)champion Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet, took one last swing at becoming the winner of the inaugural winner of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, but had to settle for third at the checkered.

According to Speedway Motorsports Incorporated CEO O. Bruton Smith, Saturday July 9, 2011 was the date of the largest and most spectacular sports event in Kentucky state history.
