Ross Chastain started on the pole at Nashville and came on strong in the final stage to win the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.

The 30-year-old Chastain from Alva, Florida, led a race-high 99 of 300-scheduled laps, including the final 34, en route to his first Cup victory of 2023 in Music City.

NASCAR heads to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend with a full schedule of events as all three national series compete. The superspeedway is a 1.33-mile, D-shaped oval, and the longest concrete surface track on the 2023 schedule.

The 29-year-old Wallace from Mobile, Alabama, is primed to achieve a milestone start in his sixth full-time season in NASCAR's premier series.

Kyle Busch won Stage 2 at Sonoma but couldn't catch Martin Truex Jr. late and settled for the runner-up spot. "I thought I could catch Martin," Busch said. "I gave it my best shot. There's nothing like a charge in 'Wine Country,' except for maybe a 'charge' in 'Tequila Country.'"

The 2017 Cup Series champion from Mayetta, New Jersey, led a race-high 51 of 110-scheduled laps and capitalized on a 15-lap dash to the finish to fend off Kyle Busch to claim his fourth Cup triumph in Sonoma, California.

The three-time Daytona 500 champion from Chesterfield, Virginia, claimed his second Cup pole award of the 2023 season after posting a pole-winning lap at 92.178 mph in 77.719 seconds.

The NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series travel to Sonoma Raceway this weekend while the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is off until Friday, June 23 at Nashville Superspeedway. The ARCA Menards Series West will kick off the racing action with the General Tire 200 Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. on FloRacing.com with a paid subscription.
