Kansas Preview: The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Kansas for the first event in the Round of 8 this weekend. “The Track That Will Blow You Away” will be the host on Sunday at 2:30 pm ET.

All three of NASCAR’s top touring series will compete in their respective Round of 8 playoff openers this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

The stage is now set for the eight drivers still in competition for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series championship when the series returns to Texas Motor Speedway for the Oct. 25 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500.

Matt DiBenedetto and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team were fast early in Sunday’s Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway but after being involved in some chain-reaction crashes wound up with a 22nd-place finish.

Brad Keselowski advanced to the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs Sunday afternoon in the Bank of American ROVAL 400 on the strength of an 18th-place finish.
