If you love motorsport and you enjoy driving, then taking your car out on a race track for a track day is the ultimate way to spend the day. Not only do you get to soak up the atmosphere, but you get to release your inner racing driver around the circuit. Although you can take your regular car around the track, there isn’t much fun in that. There are ways that you can make your car go faster and look amazing.

The appeal of motorsports is universal. After all, nearly everyone drives, but it is only on the track that speed is the name of the game. It is an adrenaline rush like no other and has the potential to draw in huge crowds. That’s where the potential for charity comes in. Either by putting a portion of the proceeds towards a local charity, or by having fundraiser events in the form of raffles, food vendors, or more, the motorsport community can really make a difference.

NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, Jack Ingram has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a serious car accident. Ingram is currently in intensive care.

Jason White is a racing veteran. Clocking in over 200 races, including 21 top tens and a pole finish in the Camping World Truck Series and multiple appearances as a part-timer in the Nationwide series. Although his presence on the track isn't anything to shout about, his earnings at the green baize have gained him more limelight over the years, with tons of tournament appearances in Vegas and at the World Series of Poker.

NASCAR racecars are supposed to resemble the cars we drive on the road. Chevy has the “Camaro," Toyota has the “Camry,” and Ford has the “Fusion,” but these are all in fact just variations on the NASCAR generation 6 platform launched in 2013.

What if you upset the other racers? What if you crash and burn? These are questions that have run through every first-timer’s mind, but be assured that the motorsports community is a welcoming one. Every competitor has to start somewhere, and the best way to learn the ropes is to turn up and get stuck in, whatever your vehicle of choice.
