Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today that Tyler Reddick, a current driver and a three-time winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), will pilot the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro in multiple NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2017. Reddick, 20, will share the No. 42 Chevrolet with 2014 NASCAR Sprint Series Rookie of the Year and 2016 member of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Kyle Larson. Veteran XFINITY Series crew chief Mike Shiplett will continue to lead the No. 42 team.

Smithley has scored eight top-20 runs in a season in which he raced on many of the Xfinity tracks for the first time. He enters Saturday’s race 18th in Xfinity points – in front of three drivers who have run the entire schedule (Smithley missed the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway).

The Xfinity Series season will end with Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Ryan Preece will be in the field in the Mizzy Construction Chevrolet.

Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 will be Chastain’s seventh race at the 1.5-mile track. He has raced in two Xfinity races and four Camping World Truck Series events at Homestead, and his record includes two top-10 runs in trucks.

“It’s really exciting to have the final race of the season in Florida,” explained Black. “I live just a few hours north of Miami, so I’ll have a lot of friends and family coming down for this one. Obviously, the pressure is on to run well since it is the last race of the season, but it also gives me a chance to celebrate the year and have fun with my team and family.”

“I have always loved racing at Homestead,” said Wallace. “It’s a track that allows you to race all over the place, which makes it a ton of fun. Whether it’s rolling around the top or hugging that white line on the bottom, there’s plenty of room to make moves and work your way forward.

Corey will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This event will be LaJoie's 16th career XFINITY series start and the 10th this season in the No. 24 Toyota.

Dakoda will be making his fifth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Homestead-Miami Speedway to go along with two previous starts in the Camping World Truck Series. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 15th at the South Florida track which came in last year's event.
