AVONDALE, Ariz. – It was just another routine Saturday at Phoenix International Raceway for Kyle Busch. But nothing else in the Ticket Galaxy 200 was at all ordinary. All the drama unfolded behind Busch, as eight drivers scrambled for four positions in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase’s Championship 4 Round at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and the Camping World Truck Series all head to Phoenix International Raceway for a full weekend of competition. Please check below for the full schedule of events.

“Phoenix is one of those tracks where we always feel like we almost have a handle on the setup on the car, but something always seems to come along , whether it be weather, late race caution or whatever that bites us. We almost had a Top 10 there a few races back, came home 11th. We’re really hoping that this time, we’ll have it worked out and, God willing, we’ll score a good finish.”

“I like the Phoenix track,” Preece said. “We had a pretty good car there in the first race of the year, and I’m looking forward to going back. We want to close out the year strong.”

“We’re bringing a good car to Phoenix,” Smithley said. “We’re definitely looking for better results this go-round. The track is smooth and fast – a really fun track to race.”

“Phoenix always has been a very good place for me,” Chastain said. “It’s a great mix of a ‘short track’ and a fast one. I really enjoy racing there.”

Roush Fenway Racing heads out west for the final time in the 2016 season as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) returns to Phoenix International Raceway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane on 17 different occasions across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway to go along with one Camping World Truck Series start at the track. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 18th at the Phoenix track which he has done four times including earlier this Spring.

Ryan Reed will make his seventh NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. In his six previous starts at the one-mile track, Reed’s best finish of 13th came in the spring of 2015. In this event last season, Reed started 20th and finished 23rd.
