Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team finished 19th on Saturday night after getting caught up in an incident on the last lap while running eighth.

Camry driver Daniel Suarez (sixth) scored the top Toyota finish in Saturday evening’s NASCAR XFINTY Series (NXS) race at Iowa Speedway.

Despite his youth, the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller driver has raced five times at Iowa – four in the Camping World Truck Series and once in Xfinity. He also has a K&N Pro Series East start at the track.

Self will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut Saturday in the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway, driving the Nebraska Transport Company Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.

In May, Rhodes finished 37th in the season’s first visit to Iowa after his Chevrolet developed suspension problems. He finished only 42 laps.

Back we go to Pocono, where Martin Truex Jr. won in the spring, where all of the Hendrick drivers shared in winning the previous five. A Busch has won there, twice. His name is Kurt.

“I really enjoy short-track racing and especially running at Iowa Speedway. We had a really good car in May and had some early misfortune. (Crew Chief) Mike (Shiplett) and the guys have worked really hard to prepare another great race car for me.
