NASCAR O'Reilly Series

Aric Almirola will kick off the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup with double duty, running the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races at Chicagoland Speedway. Saturday, Almirola will make his first start in the Nationwide Series since 2013 with a goal of getting race practice before Sunday's Sprint Cup race.

Trevor Bayne makes his eighth NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday afternoon. In seven previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Bayne has recorded two top-five and three top-10 finishes, including a second-place finish after leading 14 laps in the July 19 event.

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team are coming off of their best effort of the season after finishing seventh in Friday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway. Armstrong's career-best Nationwide finish came just three weeks after his first Top-10 finish of 2014 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Tweaker Energy Shots is back on board the No. 19 Camry this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Tweaker and Circle K have teamed up once again to serve as the primary sponsor for Mike Bliss's Camry. This is the second time this season that Tweaker and Circle K have adorned the hood of the No. 19 Camry.

BACK-TO-BACK WEEKENDS: For only the second time this year, Ryan Blaney will compete in back-to-back NASCAR Nationwide Series events for Team Penske. After finishing fourth last weekend at Richmond International Raceway, Blaney will again be behind the wheel of the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.

Windy City...James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem team come back to Chicagoland Speedway looking for redemption from the first visit at the 1.5-mile oval. Earlier this season while enjoying a solid race, the No. 99 RAB Racing team came up just short on fuel, which relegated them to a 23rd-place finish. Buescher will make his third start at Chicagoland Speedway in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, however, the Texas native also has five starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the intermediate oval including one win and two top-five finishes.

Richard Childress Racing's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series history at Chicagoland Speedway ... Richard Childress is tied for second place for number of car owner victories at Chicagoland Speedway with Kevin Harvick's back-to-back wins in 2001 and 2002. In 41 starts at the 1.5-mile suburban Chicago tri-oval, Richard Childress Racing teams have a combined nine top-five, 18 top-10 finishes and one pole award, Jeff Burton in 2006.

Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team travel back to Joliet, IL, this weekend to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Chicagoland Speedway. In ten Nationwide Series starts at the track, Sadler has one win in 2012, earned two top-five and five top-10 finishes with 152 laps led. In addition, the veteran driver has 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Chicago.

Chris Buescher will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Chicagoland Speedway this Saturday. In his previous start at the track, coming earlier this season, Buescher started 13th and finished eighth.

Mike Bliss qualified 18th for the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 on Fridayafternoon. Early into the race, Bliss was quiet on the radio and running in the 21st position. After the first caution, Bliss reported that his Camry was tight in the center and loose off. On lap 60, Bliss was scored in the 21st position and by lap 88, the No. 19 Camry was running 18th. Later in the race Bliss reported that his Camry was rolling through the center better, but he was still having trouble getting on the gas.
