NASCAR O'Reilly Series

Reed visits Daytona International Speedway for the second time this season. In his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start at the 2.5-mile track earlier this season, Reed finished 18th.

The TriStar Motorsports teams are heading home after a long, successful week at Kentucky Speedway. All three teams took part in the NASCAR Nationwide Series test session on Wednesday. Coming off a 20th-place finish at Road America, Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® team headed to Kentucky Speedway to compete in Friday night's John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300. Despite qualifying 31st, the team was able to make adjustments to improve the car's handling to post a 24th-place finish.

Jeffrey Earnhardt finished 23rd in Friday night’s John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Landon Cassill drove a solid race and finished 13th in Friday night’s John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

Paul Menard qualified third and was the top Richard Childress Racing qualifier for the John R. Elliott Hero Campaign 300 presented by Driver Sober or Get Pulled Over. Brian Scott qualified fifth, Ty Dillon eighth and Brendan Gaughan 12th.

Josh Reaume and the No.23 Lilly Trucking team came into Friday's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event at Kentucky that lightning would strike twice. Rick Ware Racing was coming off an impressive third place finish in last weekend's race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI with driver Kevin O’Connell.

No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang – A LATE-RACE SPEEDING PENALTY BUT A GREAT RUN BACK UP THROUGH THE FIELD. “Yeah, I did put us behind with that, but you still have to give credit to Kevin at the end there. He drove by and took the lead, so he was really good. We had a great Discount Tire Ford and I definitely put us behind and was just one spot away from catching back up.”

Kevin Harvick, driving for JR Motorsports, passed Kyle Busch for the lead on the final restart with only five laps remaining, to earn his 42nd career win in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
