After four solid races to start the season, Landon Cassill ran into the gremlins in Race Five Saturday at Auto Club Speedway.

Jeffrey Earnhardt scored his best finish of the young Nationwide Series season Saturday, coming home 23rd in the TreatMyClot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway.

Starting from the 12th position in the TreatMyClot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway, James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry, were looking like a team that could contend for the victory through the first third of the 150-lap event. With the multiple long green-flag stretches, the handling on the No. 99 started to slip away. The RAB Racing team didn't give up however and continued to battle for a top-10 finish.

Ty Dillon qualified third and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing entry. His other RCR teammates, Brian Scott and Brendan Gaughan started ninth and 10th, respectively.

After getting close to winning last year, Kyle Larson would hold off Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch in an exciting finish to win the Treatmyclot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway for his first career Nationwide Series victory.

A Joe Gibbs Racing car took the pole for the TreatMyClot.com 300, but it's not the Toyota that you're thinking. This week, it was Elliott Sadler putting his No. 11 Sport Clips Toyota on the pole for his 16th career pole award.

So far this year, Trevor Bayne is off to a solid start with finishes of third, seventh and a pair of eighth place finishes in the Nationwide Series. For the driver of the No. 6 AdoCare Ford Mustang, it's an okay start to a year - but at least it's consistent.

ROUSH Performance Parts (RPP) has announced it will serve as the primary partner on the No. 60 Ford Mustang - piloted by NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) rookie Chris Buescher – for 10 races during the 2014 season.

With four races in the books at four different race tracks, the contenders for this year's Nationwide Series Championship are beginning to get clearer with each week that passes by. With that said, it's time to take a closer look at five of the drivers who have risen to the top of the crop so far this year.
