Whether you love him or hate him, there is no denying that Kyle Busch is one of the best modern-day drivers at Bristol Motor Speedway. He took his third straight NASCAR Nationwide Series victory at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Toyota driver Kyle Busch won his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race of the 2014 season at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Notching a record number of national series wins at a single track, Kyle Busch made his 16th trip to Bristol’s victory lane following Saturday’s Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 presented by Lilly Diabetes. “I definitely like coming to Bristol – I always have,” said Busch.

RYAN BLANEY – No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang – “We really didn’t start out very good. We started out really loose and we didn’t think it would go that way. We thought we made good adjustments to make sure it was tight enough in the race, but when we took off we were just so loose and fell back and actually got lucky and we got the lucky dog on that first caution. Jeremy Bullins and everyone on this 22 team did an awesome job of getting this thing where it needed to be and I think if a couple cautions fell at the right time we might have been able to run second. I don’t know if we had anything for the 54, but I’m proud of my guys on this Discount Tire Ford and I’m really looking forward to the next time I’m in it at Texas.”

Over his career at Bristol, Kyle Busch has amassed five Sprint Cup Series wins - with the last coming in 2011. Last year, Busch was able to finish second in the spring race, before finishing 11th in the fall race.

Bristol Motor Speedway has caused dramatic finishes and some horrific incidents during its 53-year career in NASCAR. The short half mile track located in Bristol, Tennessee has lived through some of the worst and best moments in NASCAR history – and this weekend they can only further that resume.
