Making his first start in the No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry for RAB Racing, a rain shortened qualifying session had James Buescher rolling off the starting grid for the DRIVE4COPD300 at Daytona International Speedway in the 14th position.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Reed earned an 18th-place finish in the opening race of the season and his first race at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday. “It was a battle all day,” said Reed.

Landon Cassill had much more success driving a race car in Daytona Beach than riding a bicycle. While riding his bike during Daytona Speedweeks, Cassill was hit by a car. He suffered some minor injuries and “road rash,” as he put it, but otherwise was OK.

Jeffrey Earnhardt made his debut Saturday with the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 team at Daytona International Speedway, finishing 30th in the season-opening DRIVE4COPD 300 Nationwide Series race.

Richard Childress Racing drivers Brian Scott qualified 20th, Ty Dillon 23rd and Brendan Gaughan 27th, respectively, for the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Dayton International Speedway for Saturday afternoon's race. When the checkered flag waved, Gaughan finished sixth, Dillon seventh and Scott in 17th places.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series Season opening race is complete at Daytona International Speedway. Jeff Green and the No. 91 Support Military Foundation Camry started today's race from the eighth position.

By a narrow margin, with a push from Trevor Bayne, Regan Smith edged Brad Keselowski by 0.013 seconds to win the season-opening Drive4COPD 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

Roush Fenway Racing’s (RFR) Trevor Bayne used his No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang to push eventual race-winner Regan Smith to the front of the field, before making his own move for the win in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Kyle Busch (fourth) and Elliott Sadler (fifth) registered top-five finishes in the season-opening NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Daytona.
