Coming off his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) victory of 2013, Kyle Busch continued a strong season start on Saturday by earning a second-place finish at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, a track he calls “home.” The second-place result by Busch tied his best NNS performance at the 1.5-mile desert facility – equaling a runner-up result in 2007. He also has one NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) victory at Las Vegas in 2009.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished sixth (Austin Dillon), ninth (Brian Scott) and 11th (Ty Dillon).

I didn’t even realize it was the Sam’s Town 300 until this morning at the drivers meeting. I said, ‘That is a pretty good one for me to win. I already have my name on the trophy.’ We had a great car all day long. From about the third lap of practice I knew we had a pretty good piece and made some small adjustments to it throughout practice and a little bit for the race and the car was real good."

Sam Hornish Jr won the 17th Annual Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for his first win of the season and his second career Nationwide Series win.

Roush Fenway drivers Trevor Bayne and Travis Pastrana finished fourth and 10th respectively in Saturday’s Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The finishes marked the 31st and 32nd NNS top-10 finishes in 42 series starts at LVMS for RFR.

I didn’t know until this morning that this was the Sam’s Town 300. It is kinda cool that I was able to win it. Sam Hornish Jr. would dominate on the way to winning the Sam Town's 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to score his second career Nationwide Series victory. The win allows him to keep the Nationwide Series points lead.

After a strong showing in both Daytona and Phoenix, Hal Martin is excited to continue his momentum as he races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Saturday. "I've never raced on this track before. Like Phoenix, I'll have to learn it quickly. I'm confident that my No.44 American Custom Yachts Toyota Camry team and I will have a competitive car this weekend."

During National Blood Clot Awareness Month in March, Dollar General will match the donation made by NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Vickers to benefit Clot Connect, a non-profit education outreach program for blood clots. Dollar General and Vickers will donate $10 for each lap Vickers leads in the No. 20 Dollar General car in March and have each committed to a minimum gift of $2,000.
