Riley Herbst is hungry for a win. The driver of the No. 98 Monster Energy Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) in the NASCAR Xfinity Series is heading into Saturday’s Indianapolis 150 at the Brickyard with his eyes on the prize.

JR Motorsports has competed at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course a combined eight times in the NXS. Over the course of those starts at the 2.439-mile facility, the organization has tallied three top fives and five top 10s.

Riley Herbst and the No. 98 Monster Energy Ford team persevered through an up-and-down race to finish 12th in Saturday’s Explore The Pocono Mountains 225 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway.

Ty Gibbs finished runner-up in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway. Gibbs challenged race-winner Noah Gragson in the closing laps of Saturday’s race but came up just short to earn a second-place result in the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 54 Toyota GR Supra.

Justin Allgaier’s No. 7 Chevrolet will be sporting a fresh look next weekend when the NASCAR Xfinity Series take to the road course at the hallowed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

JR Motorsports has competed at the Tricky Triangle a combined 23 times in the NXS. Over the course of these 23 starts at the 2.5-mile facility, JRM has tallied six top fives and 13 top 10s.

Herbst has won at Pocono before. In his first race on the 2.5-mile triangle on June 9, 2017, Herbst scored his first ARCA Menards Series victory.
