Gilliland Feels Rookie Journey Going as Expected, Maybe Better?

Takes Next Steps at Home of Biggest Supporters

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 10, 2022) – For NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year contender Todd Gilliland, maybe this season is going better than expected? Gilliland has been competitive in early season races and has scored four top-20 finishes. Although not getting a top-10 finish yet, Gilliland has raced up front at some tracks while still learning others. Gilliland is learning to take the positives from each race.

“I think so, we’re learning each race,” said Gilliland. “There have been tracks like Dover where we just did not have a good weekend at all, but tracks like Auto Club, Phoenix, Daytona, and Talladega, we’re running strong. Sometimes the finishes just didn’t represent the way we raced. In that sense, we are doing better than I think. But it’s all about the results and we want more.”

“I’ve been a little surprised about the transition from racing the truck to racing the new Cup car,” continued Gilliland. “It is still an adjustment, but it is not too bad. I think that has helped. Now, it’s just getting used to this new car and the competition at the Cup level. But I felt that we have been able to compete with these guys and beat them. We just need to get the finishes.”

The next opportunity for the team comes this Sunday at the Kansas Speedway. Gilliland is looking to put together a strong run with the No. 38 First Phase Ford. The new credit card from CURO Credit, LLC, issued by The Bank of Missouri, provides pathways to financial freedom for people with unestablished or imperfect credit.

“I am thankful for the support of CURO and First Phase credit card for all their support this season,” continued Gilliland. “They jumped into this journey with us, and I feel like I want to perform for my team and for them, too. It’s great to know that they have my back and want to see us race well. We just want to keep working hard for them.”

Gilliland and the First Phase Ford Mustang will hit the track at the Kansas Speedway on May 15 at 3:00 PM ET on FS1.

McDowell Enters Kansas with Three Top-10 Finishes in Last Four Races

Love’s Travel Stops Ford Team Aims for More

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 10, 2022) – Michael McDowell and the Love’s Travel Stops Ford team enter Kansas this weekend with no shortage of momentum. Exiting Darlington with another top-10 finish, both the driver and the team are poised to add to the streak.

“For me, I am always looking ahead and preparing for the next race,” said McDowell. “Our recent finishes are something to celebrate and be proud of, but now it’s time to do more. With all the information we have learned about the new car over the last few months, and the results that we’re seeing, we know that we can keep getting better and grab some top-five results. That’s extremely difficult to do with the competition, but I feel that we can do it if we have great races.

“From the beginning of the season to now, we have made great gains. As we race the new car, you learn more about it. We are doing a good job of taking that information and putting it into the car to find more speed. It’s been paying off.”

McDowell and his Love’s Travel Stops Ford Mustang team will take to the Kansas Speedway this Saturday for practice and qualifying, followed by the race Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET on FS1.

Smith Looks to Continue Streak of Top-10 Finishes

Ready to Put Speedco in Victory Lane for Third Time in 2022

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 10, 2022) – Zane Smith and the No. 38 Speedco Ford Performance F-150 team head to the Kansas Speedway looking to add win number three to the 2022 season.

Smith enters this weekend’s race on a streak of five consecutive top-10 finishes. The team also has three top-five finishes and is the only driver with multiple wins in 2022. Smith is fifth in the current championship standings and leads the Playoff standings.

“We can’t ask for a better start to the season,” Smith stated. “This streak of top-10 results isn’t something I really try to focus on at the track. We’re trying to win every race, but we have been able to put together some strong races. The results then follow. But the position we are in with the two wins, we can be aggressive to try and get more. We want to get more.”

Smith hopes to put the Speedco brand back in Victory Lane this weekend, in what would be his first victory at a mile-and-a-half track.

“It’s crazy that I haven’t picked up a win at a mile-and-a-half track yet,” said Smith. “It is bound to happen at some point. Hopefully, we can park in Victory Lane this weekend with Speedco partners in attendance. I can’t thank them enough for what they do for myself and our No. 38 team.”

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas will air live on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET on FS1.

Wright Motorsports Seeks to Build on Success at Mid-Ohio Home Race

BATAVIA, Ohio, (May 10, 2022) – The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races in Lexington, Ohio this weekend, and that means Porsche customer racing team Wright Motorsports – who leads the GTD class championship – is preparing to race at the organization’s home track. Drivers Ryan Hardwick and Jan Heylen have celebrated two wins in four races and will look to continue their success in front of the home crowd at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“Mid-Ohio is a special racetrack for us since it is so close to our main shop in Batavia, Ohio,” said Team Owner John Wright. “Coming into this event as the points leaders brings a healthy kind of pressure for us to continue our drive in this championship effort. We know we have a proven driver lineup, a more than capable race car, and a consistently the fastest team in pit lane. This will be a good event for us.”

The No. 16 1st Phorm Porsche 911 GT3 R will be the sole Porsche contender in the GTD category, representing the manufacturer in the 13-car class. The event will have a total of 34 entries, with all but the GTD Pro class participating. From the team’s Batavia-Ohio headquarters, the effort will journey 170 miles northeast to Lexington, Ohio to the 13-turn, 2.258-mile road course.

The Rolex 24 At Daytona winners are coming off another win at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, another sweeping, low-grip circuit. Their home track has been traditionally strong for the team. In 2021, the weekend started with Hardwick claiming his first-ever “points pole” qualifying position in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team started the race in tenth and made it up to fourth place when the 1st Phorm Porsche received contact from another competitor, an incident that sent the team three laps behind the leaders. That same weekend, Hardwick and Heylen earned Wright Motorsports a second-place finish in the team’s GT4 racing effort in the Michelin Pilot Challenge series following another pole-position qualifying effort from Hardwick. In a unique twist for the multi-faceted team, with most race series quiet this weekend, Wright will only have the single Porsche under its awning at Mid-Ohio.

This weekend, the team will look to build on their recent achievements in Sunday’s sprint race, which will have a runtime of two hours and forty minutes. The Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio will go green on Sunday, May 15 at 2:10 PM Eastern. Television coverage will begin at 2:00 PM on the USA Network. Peacock subscribers can also stream live starting at 2:00 PM.

DRIVER QUOTES

Ryan Hardwick
It’s a home race for our Wright Motorsports team this weekend at Mid-Ohio! We are very proud to be coming into this home race with the GTD championship points lead. I’ve always enjoyed racing at Mid-Ohio, and I’ve had quite a bit of success at this track. I finished on the GTD podium here in 2019 and 2020, and I also took the pole position here last season for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race as well. So it’s safe to say that I like this place! The focus is going to be centered around keeping our positive momentum going and continuing to execute on what we can control. Looking forward to it!

Jan Heylen
This is the home race for Wright Motorsports, and we’re back in the lead of the championship. The goal is to keep It there. Mid-Ohio is another low-grip surface which should suit us well.

Renegade™ Partners with Stewart-Haas Racing

Leading Insurance Agency Aligns with Driver Aric Almirola and No. 10 Team

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 10, 2022) – Renegade™, a revolutionary insurance agency platform that empowers top agents and agency owners to break free from old insurance and establish their own independent practices, has partnered with Stewart-Haas Racing, the championship-winning NASCAR team.

Renegade will make its debut on the No. 10 Ford Mustang of NASCAR Cup Series driver Aric Almirola beginning with this weekend’s event at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City with Renegade emblazoned across the car’s roof, just above the rear windshield. Renegade’s first race as a primary sponsor of Almirola and the No. 10 team will be Sept. 3-4 during the Southern 500 race weekend at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.

“NASCAR is a fast-paced sport and Renegade embodies that expeditious need for change in the insurance industry for our agents, customer and carrier partners. We’ve partnered with Stewart-Haas Racing to help tell our story,” said Rashik Adhikari, founder and CEO, Renegade.

“Insurance agents continue to face challenges. On one hand, you have captive agents who are exclusive to one insurance company and, on the other hand, you have independent agencies who struggle with technology, customer service and alignment with their carrier partners. As a result, the status quo has insurance agents who can’t maximize their potential and customers who don’t get the choice, expertise and service they deserve from their agents. This status quo, however, needs to change – fast and reliably. Renegade facilitates this change with speed, efficiency and accuracy – the same winning mentality Stewart-Haas Racing brings to the track.”

Renegade empowers agents who want to challenge the status quo and win for the customers and the carrier partners. By combining cutting-edge technology and best-in-class expertise, Renegade agents grow their customer roster faster, service their customers better and, ultimately, retain them longer by providing the best insurance options and advice, all in one place. By working with more than 80 insurance carriers, Renegade delivers unbiased insurance solutions its customers can trust.

These tenets align well with motorsports and, specifically, Stewart-Haas Racing, where its drivers and their teams are always looking to challenge the past, go faster and perform better, with the unceasing goal of winning races and championships.

“This is my 11th fulltime season in the NASCAR Cup Series, but it never gets old bringing a new partner into the sport,” said Almirola, a three-time race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. “Renegade is an ambitious company that is striving for the same thing we are – to be the best and deliver results. It’s an honor to have them on my racecar.”

Three hours away on Sunday, MSR will be in action at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, for Round 5 of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the Lexus Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio.

Simon Pagenaud: No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Honda:

Saturday, May 14, NBC/Peacock (3:00pm ET)

Meyer Shank Racing is looking to great off to a strong start to the Month of May as the team enters the GMR Grand Prix race weekend. MSR has had several strong outings at the 2.439-mile Indy road course. The team scored a third place finish in the 2019 edition of the event after qualifying from third. The following year MSR scored its first front row qualifying position, after being nudged out from pole by just 0.187-seconds.

Pagenaud won the first race on the infield circuit in 2014. The Frenchman went on to sweep the Month of May in 2016 after winning the GMR Grand Prix from the pole position on the way to winning the Indianapolis 500 later that month. Pagenaud scored a third IMS road course win in 2019.

Castroneves has competed on the Indianapolis road course on nine occasions, scoring a pair of podium finishes. He placed third in his first start in 2014 and second in 2016. Castroneves also qualified second in 2017. Castroneves most recently raced at the Indianapolis road course for the Big Machine Spiked Coolers Grand Prix with MSR in 2021 but unfavorably finished 21st.

MSR Driver Quotes, GMR Grand Prix:

Helio Castroneves:
“I am super excited for the Indy GP and can’t wait to come back to Indianapolis. Obviously, it’s the Month of May and we’re all excited to get started. I’m looking forward to an amazing race, MSR has had a good history at the track and so have both Simon and I so I’m hoping that good things are to come this weekend. Of course the race leads up to the ‘big one’ which we’re all prepping for.”

Pagenaud Simon:
“My sights are focused on the Indy Grand Prix coming up, a big event for us at Meyer Shank Racing. The IMS road course is one of my favorite tracks. I’ve had a lot of success in the past, and I look forward to being back in Indianapolis. It’s called INDYCAR for a reason, and I look forward to meeting my fans over there and seeing everyone come to the track and supporting us. I look forward to getting back in my car and do the best I can this weekend and try to bring some silverware back home.”

Meyer Shank Racing Takes Share of DPi Points Lead to Home Circuit

Driver Lineup: Tom Blomqvist and Oliver Jarvis: No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Acura ARX-05 DPi

Tune In: Saturday, May 14, 2022 on USA Network and Peacock (4-6:05 p.m. ET)
SiriusXM Ch. 207

After finishing second on three occasions at its home track, MSR is looking for its first victory at Mid-Ohio, where team co-owner Mike Shank started the team nearly two decades ago.

MSR driver Oliver Jarvis and Tom Blomqvist were in the fight for victory at the last round of competition at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca before coming up 1.080-seconds shy in a 1-2 Acura finish.

The sights are now shifted to MSR’s home race at Mid-Ohio where the team will aim to get it’s first at-home victory. Jarvis and Blomqvist are currently tied for the lead in the DPi standings.

Jarvis raced in four WeatherTech Championship events at Mid-Ohio from 2018-2021, finishing second from the pole in 2019, and third in 2018 and 2021.

Blomqvist has one outing at Mid-Ohio where he finished fourth in GTLM in 2019.

Driver Quotes, Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio:

Oliver Jarvis:
“After a really strong result at Laguna Seca it’s great to keep that momentum going and to be heading to MSR’s home race at Mid-Ohio. It’s a track I really enjoy and have had success at over the years, so I hope I can continue that form with MSR. Having raced against the Acura over the last few years there I am really excited to get my first taste behind the wheel as I know it’s a track that plays to the Acura’s strengths. I also heard that MSR have never won there as a team, so it would be amazing to put that right!”

Tom Blomqvist:
“The last couple of races have been positive for us. Obviously it still hurts a little bit to not have gotten the win at Laguna after being so close. But we’ve made great progress with the car and Mid-Ohio, on paper, is a track that should suit us. I think we feel confident going into that race. It’s a home race for the team, so it’s super important for everyone to go for a win. Hopefully we can put on a good show and win the race.”

Fisher To Drive 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition Pace Car at 106th Indianapolis 500

INDIANAPOLIS (Tuesday, May 10, 2022) – Former INDYCAR SERIES driver and team owner Sarah Fisher, who remains the fastest woman in Indianapolis 500 history, will drive the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition Pace Car to lead the field to the green flag for the 106th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 29 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Ohio native Fisher started “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” nine times between 2000 and 2010, a record for female drivers. Her fastest four-lap qualifying speed of 229.439 mph in 2002 also remains an event record for a female driver.

Fisher also was the first woman to win the pole position for a major North American open-wheel event, for the INDYCAR SERIES race in 2002 at Kentucky Speedway. She also was the first female driver to earn a top-three finish in INDYCAR SERIES competition, placing third in 2000 at Kentucky Speedway and second in 2001 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

After her driving career, Fisher turned to team ownership, providing two-time series champion Josef Newgarden with his first ride in the INDYCAR SERIES. Since her team ownership role ended, she stayed involved with the sport by serving as the Pace Car driver at selected NTT INDYCAR SERIES events.

She now co-owns with her husband, Andy O’Gara, the successful Speedway Indoor Karting facilities in Speedway, Indiana, and Daytona Beach, Florida, and is the mother of two children.

“Every time I’ve had the opportunity to drive at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it’s been special – from INDYCAR SERIES cars to two-seaters to vintage cars,” Fisher said. “Driving the Pace Car is just as special of an honor. And to have served in that role for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES since Johnny Rutherford retired, I’ve had many great memories to add to my career.

“I am humbled and proud to become the official Pace Car driver for the 106th Indianapolis 500 and to represent the hard work and development that Chevrolet puts into these fantastic pieces of automobile advancement and technology.”

The 2023 Corvette Z06 is powered by the all-new 5.5L LT6 which creates 670 horsepower, making it the highest-horsepower naturally aspirated V-8 ever to hit the market in any production car. The Indianapolis 500 Corvette Z06 Pace Car exudes confidence with a wide stance and exotic mid-engine proportions. This year’s Pace Car is equipped with the available Z07 Performance Package, featuring a carbon fiber rear wing, aerodynamic ground effects, carbon ceramic brakes and more, for maximum track capability.

With a nod to Corvette’s 70-year history, the Pace Car is a model year 2023 70th Anniversary Edition Z06, finished in a special White Pearl Tri-Coat Metallic paint. Unique to this package on the production car and the Pace Car are 70th Anniversary Edition exterior badging, including special Corvette crossflags, Edge Red brake calipers and the 70th Anniversary Edition logo on seats, steering wheel and sill plates.

Chevrolet’s Performance Design Studio created an asymmetric stripe package specifically for the Pace Car that draws inspiration from the 70th Anniversary Edition badging on the door of the Z06.

“The Chevrolet Team is proud to pace the Indianapolis 500 for the 33rd time, while celebrating 70 years of Corvette,” said Steve Majoros, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. “It’s only fitting the Indianapolis 500 will be the first race the 2023 Corvette Z06 paces, a truly special moment for Corvette and INDYCAR fans around the world.”

Chevrolet and Corvette have led the starting field more than any other manufacturer and nameplate, respectively. The 2022 race marks the 33rd time for Chevrolet to pace dating back to 1948, and the 19th time since 1978 for America’s favorite sports car.

“Sarah Fisher is an Indianapolis 500 icon who always takes the time to appreciate her fans and represent the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing’ with class and humility,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “She is such a fitting person for this honor, and it will be such a thrill and privilege to see her lead the field of 33 cars to the green flag before a huge crowd at the track and a global television audience.

“I’m sure Sarah will enjoy driving the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition, which is an incredible car with the performance to match its great looks.”

Ford Performance NASCAR: Kansas Advance

FORD PERFORMANCE NASCAR: KANSAS ADVANCE

The NASCAR Camping World Truck and NASCAR Cup Series will headline this weekend’s racing action at Kansas Speedway, which is hosting the first of two events this season. Ford is seeking its fourth Cup win of the 2022 season and second straight after Joey Logano won last weekend at Darlington Raceway while Ford’s F-150 lineup will be seeking its third victory in eight starts.

This Week’s Schedule:

Saturday, May 14 – NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, 8 p.m. ET (FS1)
Sunday, May 15 – NASCAR Cup Series, 3 p.m. ET (FS1)

FORD IN THE NASCAR CUP SERIES AT KANSAS

· Ford has nine all-time NASCAR Cup Series wins at Kansas.
· Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano all have multiple Cup wins at Kansas.
· Mark Martin registered Ford’s first Cup win at Kansas in 2005.

FORD IN THE NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES AT KANSAS

· Ford has five series victories at Kansas.
· Jon Wood won Ford’s first series race at the track.
· Carl Edwards, Terry Cook, Erik Darnell and Matt Crafton also have one win each.

LOGANO CLIMBING FORD CUP WIN LIST

Joey Logano’s win at Darlington Raceway on Sunday enabled him to move up one notch on the all-time Ford Cup win list. Since joining Ford and Team Penske at the start of the 2013 season, Logano has won 26 times, which puts him in a four-way tie for sixth place with former teammate Brad Keselowski and NASCAR Hall of Famers Fred Lorenzen and Junior Johnson. That leaves him three victories away from tying David Pearson for fifth, but he still has a way to go to catch Ned Jarrett, Ford’s all-time leader with 43 wins.

BLANEY SHOWING CONSISTENCY

Ryan Blaney is still looking for his first win of the 2022 season, but his consistency after 12 races has resulted in him holding down third place in the point standings going into this weekend’s race at Kansas Speedway. Blaney has six top-10 finishes in 12 races, including four top-5 runs and a series-high three poles, and comes to Kansas looking to bounce back from an accident that led to a 37th-place finish the last time he ran on the 1.5-mile track in October.

KEEP AN EYE ON KESELOWSKI

Brad Keselowski comes into this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series also looking for his first win of the season, but Kansas Speedway could provide the proper medicine for a trip to Victory Lane. That’s because Kansas ranks as his fifth-best venue when it comes to average finish on tracks that currently make up the 2022 circuit. In 24 career starts at Kansas Speedway, Keselowski has a pair of wins, seven top-5 and 13 top-10 efforts for an average finishing position of 11.5. Only Loudon (10.1), Pocono (10.6), Martinsville (11.1) and Las Vegas (11.3) are better.

LOGANO GOING FOR FOURTH KANSAS VICTORY

Joey Logano will be looking for his fourth career win at Kansas Speedway this weekend, which would be a personal best. Logano currently has three career wins at Kansas, Michigan International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. He won for the first time at Kansas in 2014, and then did it again one year later in a well-documented battle with Matt Kenseth that resulted in contact as the two entered turn one with five laps to go. That controversial finish marked Logano’s second straight win in the Chase and led to a sweep of the Contender Round as he took the checkered flag the following week at Talladega. His last Kansas win came in 2020 when he led the final 45 laps to beat Kevin Harvick across the finish line and clinch a spot in the Championship 4.

FORD NASCAR CUP SERIES WINNERS AT KANSAS

2005 – Mark Martin

2007 – Greg Biffle

2010 – Greg Biffle

2012 – Matt Kenseth (2)

2014 – Joey Logano (2)

2015 – Joey Logano (2)

Everything You Need to Know About Shipping Hybrids and Electric Vehicles

With growing concerns about the apparent effect of global warming on our everyday lives, electric and hybrid vehicles are becoming popular vehicles of choice. With new models coming up, electric and hybrid vehicle brands are quickly expanding across the car industry as a long-term affordable choice for different types of consumers.

Having said that, if you own one of these vehicles and you need to ship your electric or hybrid vehicle, here are some of the things you need to be aware of beforehand.

Essential Facts About Shipping Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

Hybrid and electric vehicles are loaded, shipped, and delivered the same way as other vehicles. Apart from lithium-ion batteries, according to Voltsome all other shipping regulations are the same as for any other type of vehicle.

Preparing your car for shipping is a priority for whichever vehicle you are shipping. For example, a hybrid and an electric vehicle may contain more fragile components, but this will not be an issue with the proper shipping partner.

Finally, lithium-ion batteries are heavy, and since car shipping companies take vehicle weight into account, this will impact your shipping rate.

Prepare Your Hybrid or Electric Vehicle for Shipping

All the regular car shipping preparatory tips apply in this case as well, but let us look at two recommendations that might be extra important when shipping hybrid or electric vehicles.

Fully Charge Your Vehicle’s Battery

The number one thing that most people fear is whether charged battery weighs more, and according to our practice, we can say that it does not. However, it is vital to prepare your vehicle for the trip, especially the shipment’s last leg. Take into account how long your car will need to be driven after it is dropped off if you had not booked door-to-door service.

Follow the “Better Safe Than Sorry” Policy

Prepare your vehicle for shipping by making sure it goes for a standard check-up with the authorized mechanic before it is shipped. Cars might be damaged in transit, and checking them once they are delivered will be much easier for the car shipping company if they’re sure that car entered transit in good shape.

What Are Some Common Injuries Caused By Motorcycle Accidents?

According to the NHTSA, approximately 4,957 people died in motorcycle crashes in 2017. This equates to nearly thirteen fatalities per day! No one wants to be in a motorcycle accident as it can result in multiple injuries, most of which can be life-threatening.  It is, therefore, important to be aware of the dangers of motorcycle accidents and take steps to protect yourself from these common injuries.

The Common injuries from motorcycle accidents?

Open Fractures: Open bone fractures are just one of the several common motorcycle accident injuries that can occur if the rider is traveling at a high rate of speed. It’s essential to note that these types of injuries are considered “high energy” injuries because the force required for this type of injury is more than what happens in most car accidents.

Skin abrasions and road rash: This can happen after the motorcycle rider falls off the bike and is dragged along the ground. It’s critical to note that road rash can be life-threatening if it strips off too much skin since it leaves open wounds exposed to germs and other problems. This can require immediate medical attention.

Cuts and scratches: These can be caused when the rider is thrown from the motorcycle and falls on top of the motorcycle or other objects. Again, cuts and scratches are considered” high energy” injuries because they require an extra amount of energy to cause the damage they do.

Dislocated joints: This is common in motorcycle accidents because these types of accidents have so much ‘impact’ associated with them, as compared to a car accident.

Traumatic brain injuries: The amount of force involved in motorcycle accidents is significantly higher, which can cause traumatic brain trauma or coma.

Lung contusions: Motorcycle riders are at an elevated risk for lung contusion which causes symptoms like shortness of breath, tingling in the hands, chest pain, and even unconsciousness.

What to do After a Motorcycle Accident

Despite the situation, your survival depends on not losing your cool. Your mindset should be to get through the next few minutes before help arrives. Be aware of any injuries you might have suffered. If you can, check yourself out and see what injuries you have sustained. If you are uncomfortable doing so, ask someone to look at you first before anything else happens. Ask other people around to call an ambulance if you are unable to do so yourself.

It’s also important to call the police and insurance agents to give them the particulars of the accident that happened. Calling a motorcycle accident attorney is always a good idea if you suspect someone else fully or partly was responsible, and you need to hold them responsible for the damage they caused. In such cases, it is vital to collect witness information and take pictures and videos of the scene to be later used as evidence

Conclusion

Motorcycle accidents are extremely risky since they often result in serious injuries, sometimes even death. Some common injuries from these accidents include broken bones, road rash, and head and brain injuries. Fortunately, wearing proper safety gear including a helmet can help reduce possible damage to your body, possibly saving your life. Also, you can recover any loss you incur as a result of the accident with the help of a motorcycle accident lawyer.
